it's a freakin solid state memory card. it looks like one...it feels like one...it works just like one...i'd go so far as to call it one. in fact, as a cool added bonus,it has molded rubber grips for easy insertion and removal, and it's bright yellow, so i know when i've got my card in.

point is...it works.

When I first got PS2 a year ago, I didn't had any memory with it and a lot of good games now need it to store a save point, so I really couldn't progress much on those games (gta3). There's not much to write for thr review other than few facts
- This is not compatible with PS-One
- It's much faster in access (saving and loading games) than PS-One : about 200 times.
- Absolute requirement.
- Last but not the least, it's a little expensive for the price and I'm sure that pretty soon other companies would be coming up with higher memory modules, just like it happenend for digital cameras.

I would recommend this over Sony. This card is exactly same as sony, has the "official licensed product" from Sony Playstation. It was originally used by Sony with their game consoles and then Sony started making their own.
If you buy it in a game shop, it's couple of bucks cheaper than the Sony brand.

This is a good memory card. Had it for two weeks and didn't lose a save. It works just as well as my official Sony 8mb card. The only problem is that if you have a game that has a place to hold a memory card in the dvd case, this card is kinda hard to fit in..Overall a good mem. card!

I couldn't find a Sony card anywhere in NY or online, so I got this one instead. Performance has been great, no problems at all. Design is good too, easy to insert/remove and good colors. I'm usually very hesitant to use third party hardware in my systems, but this card is licensed by Sony, so I wasn't too worried about third party problems like one of the other reviewers. All in, it's a good deal, whether you're looking to save a few dollars or just can't find the darn sony cards.

Causes "freeze-up" while saving on Tony Hawk Underground. Activision claims they only support official Sony cards.

I've had my one of these for over 18 months now and it does exactly what it is supposed to do.

No crashes, no corruptions all data saved and recovered just fine.

Thumbs up as is it cheaper than Sony but officialy licensed.

This card does what it says, and does it well, for less. That's all there is to say. I've never had a problem with it, I've never lost a bit of data, and, brand-new, it was the same price as a used Sony card.

Bonus points for a color and design that stands out against the color of the console and other memory cards when I take it to my friends' dorms.

The Nyko Memory Card works, it saves your files fine it deletes fine but after a month or 2 your data starts getting corrupted. My advice is to buy the Sony Brand it should be fine, I have never had a problem with Sony.

One of the best memory cards I have ever used. It saves and loades games very quickly. Also it is approved by SONY to work on your PS2. I highly recommend buying this memory card, it will save you money and time.

TO THE 12 YEAR OLD GAMER.DON'T REVIEW STUFF YOU HAVE NEVER BOTHERED TO USE. IF YOU HAD USED IT YOU'D KNOW THAT IT WORKS GREAT. EVEN SONY THEMSELVES INDORSES IT. I'VE USED THIS CARD WITH ALL OF MY 12 GAMES AND IT WORKS JUST FINE NEVER HAD A PROBLEM. IF YOU WANT TO SAVE A FEW BUCKS(WHO DOESN'T) GO BUY THIS CARD IT WORK JUST FINE.
