5.0 out of 5 stars Great bat stick!
Square gate with good throw back. Easy to make circular motions. Buttons respond decently however the plastic is cheap. You can easily fit some nice sanwa buttons on this but you would need a new PCB for the actual switches. Case has good space to install a different joystick. GREAT BUY!

First off, this arcade stick isn't all metal. I also tried using it on a PS2 slim and it didn't work with Tekken 3 or Virtua Fighter 4 Evo. I ordered 2 because they were cheap and neither worked. Rather than that. The stick and buttons are naturally cheap. For the positive side of things, it does have a stick that clicks and uses the mechanical buttons instead of a motion...

4.0 out of 5 stars Inexpensive, Competent, September 25, 2010
= Fun:4.0 out of 5 stars

I needed to order several PlayStation arcade sticks in a pinch for a get-together and this seemed the most economical unit available. The bottom of the casing is metal, the controller "clicks" so you know if your inputs should be registering as well as a light flashing if any button is pressed, the diagonals are easy to find since the stick uses a square foundation, and any button can be programmed for auto-fire. That said, this controller is by no means the equivalent of the ~$150 high-quality, durable arcade stick I've played with, but for a $20-$25 stick its competent. Plus there's no real noticeable lag between button presses and the actions on the screen unlike some cheaper sticks out there.

I'm a little confused by the statements made by the previous reviewer of this product since I tested this controller with both Tekken 3 and Virtua Fighter 4 Evo on a PS2 and it worked absolutely fine. I've tested it on a PlayStation, an original PlayStation 2, a "slim" PlayStation 2, and both models of the Sega Saturn. The controller works absolutely fine no matter the system or fighting game I've used it with. Neither the stick nor the buttons are analog, however, so be careful playing it with games that need either/or.

This controller is also supposedly compatible with the Super NES, Genesis, and 3DO *IF* you can find the break-away cables for those systems. They are *NOT* included in the box, although the cables for a PlayStation or Saturn are included.

Overall, for an inexpensive arcade stick, you could do a lot worse than Innovation's Fighting Stick V.

Rather than that. The stick and buttons are naturally cheap. For the positive side of things, it does have a stick that clicks and uses the mechanical buttons instead of a motion pad. I heard the motion pad is a bad thing? The circuitry is simple, so I would think it would be easy to replace all this though. The joystick works with a square hole for rotation in the bracket. Overall, I don't see why anyone would want this.

Even for the price, this "thing" is a disgrace to arcade pads.
Save yourself the disappointment and avoid this product.
As for that "reviewer" who wrote that this works fine on everything he's tried, he must work
for that company because this disgrace of a pad just lights up....and that's it.

If i could give it negative stars, I would. But Amazon wants to me to give it one out of pity...which the pad doesn't deserve.

The only purpose this product has is to become a masturbating toy for a female to sit on (the bat stick ONLY).

Nuff said.
