I bought the PS2 and this game for my daughter who is 19 and never thought I'd ever get involved. But after watching for a few rounds I accepted the invitation to sing one song and reluctantly gave the mike back a few hours later - and only then when my voice gave out.

I am amazed at how accurate it measures how well you perform along w/ the original artists. The microphones that come w/ are top quality and the game play is superb. It's just good clean fun whether its just a night in or having a party. Add DDR and guitar hero to the mix and who needs alcohol?

We were thrilled with our playstation 2 and that fact that it was white...we have seen silver and black, but loved the new white one..and the fact that we got it FAST and TAX FREE... days before Christmas was great! We couldn't find it anywhere!!!! My children love it... and they have played with it daily for hours of entertainment. thanks!!!!!

ever since my PS2 broke, I've been holding off on getting it replaced because I was planning on upgrading to a PS3, now I find out the PS3 is eliminating back-compatibility to cut costs. Here comes amazon gold box to the rescue! PS2 + singstar pop for $99! I was going to buy the SingStar game anyway, but now it's bundled into the PS2, the game itself is worth nearly 50 on it's own, which mean I just got a new PS2 for 50 dollars! well worth it in my opinion. SingStar is great! probably the best and worst feature of the game is that it has a feature where you can play back the song you just sang. (it's terrible if you sing as horribly as I do =P ). The game has full songs and music videos which is leaps and bounds better then those crappy home karaoke machines with their crappy MIDI syth'ed songs and no vocal tracks.

All my friends have a PS2 and I always wanted one. I was even hoping they'd sell me theirs after one of them got the PS3. Instead this holiday, I got this awesome bundle.

I was really happy that it was Ceramic White because it makes my PS2 even more special. It was even better when I showed my family because they almost thought it was a Wii.

Singstar is a really fun party and family game. Everyone likes to watch the music vids on the background while the players sing their heart out. The person below said something about how Singstar only rates phrases and not pitch, well that's pretty... wrong. The only song that does grade your Phrase perfomance is the Gorillaz song "Feel Good, Inc." because of the rap part. For all the other songs, well if you don't know the lyrics, not a problem it's color coded on the bottom of the screen or you can just cheat and hum it.

The game is from 1-8 players but I think it's best played with 2-6 players on Pass the Mic mode, then everyone gets a turn and to watch!

I bought this PlayStation for my 7 year old son. I only bought this edition because I caught such a good deal on Amazon. I really enjoy the SingStar because I get to act silly and sing with my children. I was also amazed at how much my son likes to sing and even learns some of the songs he doesn't know. It has helped me see another side of him believe it or not. Overall, we've been having more fun when we're stuck in the house.

At first I bought this because I wanted a new ps2, having got one when they first came out and I really wanted the white color.
As a 19 year-old, who is not much of a singer, I doubted Singstar would receive any use. However, after trying it I have loved it. In fact, my whole family loves it, including my 17-year old brother (who is also not a pop fan). Not only did my family love it, but also my guy friends, and my brother's friends , quite surprisingly!

I ordered this bundle not because I was particularly interested in SingStar but because it was the only white PS2 available on Amazon at the time, and I wanted the PS2 to match our Wii and XBox 360. I'm happy with my decision because the slim white PS2 is pretty and unobtrusive and it takes up very little space on the entertainment center.

SingStar came with the console, and it's actually sort of fun. I don't know if I would have bought it alone, and I probably wouldn't have paid any extra to get this bundle (at least at the time of my purchase*), but since it was essentially free (the white PS2 bundled with SingStar costs the same as a black or silver PS2 on their own) it's kind of fun to play around with.

This bundle includes a white slim PS2, the cords necessary to hook it up, a white wired controller, and the SingStar bundle (game and two microphones). If you want to play SingStar and need a new PS2, then this bundle is a great deal! If you just want a white PS2 and have no interest in SingStar, then this bundle costs the same as any other PS2 and you can just chuck SingStar.

I am very happy with this purchase. This bundle is a great value. The Ceramic White color looks very sharp. I wasn't sure if I would like the pack-in game (SingStar Pop), but it's actually very fun. I absolutely recommend this product!

Just wanted to let everyone know that the new ceramic playstation 2 is great. We have has a blast playing "SingStar". I is for all ages. My teenagers and their friends play on it for hours. You can play up to eight players. We sit in the couch and listen to them sing. I a great learning tool, because the kids have to follow the lyrics of the song. We just purchased SingStar of the 80s.

I ordered this PS2 because it was White color, its boring to buy a black or silver color. (Personal Choice)
I did not care for the game, this was the only White PS2 available at this time and therefore i bought it. Not only that it comes with a White PS2 Controller which i think looks very kool.
I didnt even bother to open the game because i personally dont like these type of games, its probably good but i am not really sure on that since i did not bother to play it.

-Amazon Shipped the Console and it got home safely. System is good and plays DVDs and games now without skipping like my old PS2.

Overall if you like the Color to be unique aside from regular Black and Silver and you have an Old slim PS2 that is giving you problems, i Highly recommend buying this White PS2 before they run out and later you see them in EBAY for $300+ Dollars.
