We had the older version of the PS2 console, and we couldn't figure out why it stopped playing our games, that are blue disc's. I held off buying an updated PS2 because of the expense. I should've gotten one of these a lot sooner! Now that we have it my children and I are able to play our favorite games again that we haven't been able to play in years, and the new Toy Story 3 game is a great plus. It is remarkable how slender and compact this console is, and the fact the it works better than the old PS2 console. The new console is totally worth every cent! I'd recommend this product to others in a heart beat.

this ps2 made my day when i got it. it has a built in power supply. so no more brick . next the system don't over heat unlike the scph-70001 ps2 slim. it sounds great , the graphics is great when using component cables . looks good. gran Turismo 4 looks extreamly good when out putting in 1080i . so yea i would recommend this system if your board and want somthing to do.

This system runs smoothly and quietly. I bought this one because I didn't want to use my fat one anymore. It is sleek, light, and has a built in power source (NO BRICK!...Yay!).
