Same as the U.S. version but you will be only one with a silver one at a couple dollars more its worth it, also you wont get your controller mixed up with your buddy's....And.....its An Awesome Silver color.

What can I say, they're Dualshock 3 controllers but silver instead of black. They work as described and hold a charge for a long time.

This dual shock is great! the color is so much cooler than the regualr black. And its easier to distinguish btwn regular controlers and dualshocks if that applies 2 u. I would deffinately recommend this!

I ordered this item from amazon back in October of this year so that I could get a good start on my holiday shopping. Not until recently had I seen this item for the PS3 and I knew that when I bought the item it was going to be as prommised in the pikcture because my experience with this site has always been a good one and all of the items that I order come looking brand new and always very quickly! I have no complaints and the ordering is simple clear and exactly what I look for. Thank you Amazon and its sellers!

This dual shock's silver cover sucks, i accidently dropped it and the silver paint came off..it works as any other dual shock 3 controller but if u expect it to last in silver, forget it.

if you like having a visual pleasing & unique option for your ps3 entertainment system it's worth a couple extra bucks! same as the usa model but it's silver & of course you get the dual shock capability lacking in the orginal equipment controller. the vibration adds another demension to the game playing experience.

i also would recomend the ps3 charge station by PDP products very cool & complements the silver dual shock controller.

If you live in the United States and are thinking of purchasing the Japanese version of the Dual Shock 3 controller beware that you have no recourse replacing this item if it breaks within Sony's 90-day warranty period. I owned this controller for one month prior to the X and square buttons becoming unusable. I called SCEA to have the broken controller replaced and they instructed me to send it to their fulfillment department in San Mateo, CA. Two months later, without any contact from SCEA, I called them to receive a status update. They told me that region-specific systems and peripherals must be returned to regional centers (i.e. Japan in this instance). They said they would send me the broken controller back if I desired and I could then send it to Japan. Not a lot of good that will do me now considering the warranty has expired. Thanks Sony.

I received it and thought it was going to be awesome. It worked for about a week and then it wouldn't work wirelessly anymore. It works great if I have it plugged in, but then what's the point of buying a wireless controller? When it's not plugged in, I press the PS button and the ps3 turns on, but the controller doesn't connect to the ps3 wirelessly. It doesn't really make sense! The major difference from the Japanese and American versions is that the American version has a reset button on the bottom of the controller and the Japanese does not. I have researched my problem and found it all over the internet. My suggestion would be to spend a couple more bucks and buy American, the controller that came when I bought with my ps3 is about a year old and still works like it's brand new.

This is by far the best controller for the PS3!! It was a surprise for my son's birthday and he loved the fact he had silver and not black like everyone else!!

the silver is very nice! works just like any other PS3 controllers (of course)
