if you dont want to read a page long reveiw, my answer is: yes, great deal, great product.

now to the long stuff:
my 4 year old 1st version psp was getting lots of wear and tear. so i look up the 2nd version, slim and lite, on amazon. And i find this. at first, i thought there was a big logo on the back for madden, and not being a big football fan, i thought against purchasing it. but i look at the pictures, and where i expected to find a big helmet or something on the back, there was nohting, just shiny blue.

now on to madden: as you have read, im not a football fan. i am definatly not the "get the new version every year" kind of guy. but i try it, and it seems like they expected people to be new at it. They put a "rookie mode" to all the game modes, and its easy, fast, and fun gameplay.

beats: People dont really know what this is before they play it, so let me explain. Beats is like dance dance revolution max, press the button in sync with the music to score mega points. But beats adds something, you get to use your own music in your psp, whether its from a pc, or a cd. And in case you don't have any, they have pre-loaded tracks that will do until you get some. the game mode where you can make your own rythems is kinda comfusing, and i havent figured it out yet.

the movie: its basically a short doc. on fameous football players, so, that is really up for you to decide.

for the whole package:
pros-shiny blue, lightweight,durable, Madden 09 is user friendly, beats is good to pass the time,

cons:beats takes a long time to download from the ps store, beats can get a little tiring to your eyes and brain, and the movie ain't all that great.

I got the Limited edition madden PSP as an intro to the system. Never played PSP but always was curious. Am going on a long trip this weekend so figured it would be a great time to get one. The game plays well, better then excepted and the PSP is cool. The blue is a fine color... The add ons didn;t blow me away... I would recomend this system to anyone who wants a PSP game system.

If you are buying this one keep in mind that this is not the latest model. This is the PSP 2000 model with the software upgrade 1.4. That said this is a good option for music, movies, and video games on the go. Internet browser.... no so much. I think that this so call pack value is not that great because if you search every item separately you might actually save some money.

The PSP works fine. I'm not to much of a Madden fan but I'm sure I'll get into the game. I bought it for the 1gig memory stick and for the fact the the PSP is blue. Anyway, I love the product. Thanks,

I got it surprisingly quick, so no complaints there. It came with the charger cable (my biggest worry), and a 1GB memory stick. I wasn't worried about the memory stick, because I already have a 1GB and an 8GB, but it's nice to have it anyway. It is indeed the blue version (my favorite color), and it works. The battery cover is broken, and has been taped in place, but that's not a major issue with me, as I have a case to hold the PSP in while playing. It didn't come with the game (although it did come with some save data for it and others), but that's kind of a good thing for me. I don't like sports games. I got this for the blue.
It is indeed acceptable, and I have no real complaints about what I received.

I was considering getting this blue PSP for nearly 3 years. I finally caved and decided to buy it used. Not only did it come earlier than expected but it plays perfectly and looks great for being used. I'd defiantly buy from them again!

I bought this for my 12 year old daughter on September 13 2008 at that time she was 11 years old. She likes the color blue.

Pros: cool color, slim, listen to music, watch movies, display photos, bigger screens, internet, battery rans out slow.

Cons: Supports Flash Player 6 not the latest Flash Player, Some songs gets coruptted, low memory on internet browser, 1gb memory stick has 957MB, poor game selection.

My daughter does not want the madden 09 game. She gave it to my brother. This system is good. She like this system.

These are all the rage now but whats hot is this is a very cool color of shiny blue AND comes standard with Madden 2009. The games are expensive so this is a decent deal. As for this being the older 2000 version PSP Ive read differing reviews about the new 3000 version that the screen is not always clear and it feels cheaper since Sony had to cut costs on the new one. My son has not put this thing down (mostly) and the screen is amazingly clear. A major hit from Santa. Money well spent.

good purchase just as described....item was sold out everywhere else and found this one got in in time for christmas.
