Shirts are made from UPF 50+ rated fabrics, which is the highest sun protection provided by apparel, and block 97.5% of harmful UV rays. All our PlayaPup apparel, belly bands and hats are made from CHEMICAL FREE fabrics! No sunscreen needed (for covered areas) for sensitive pooches. Female and Male shirts follow the same sizing. I just guessed at the size but it fit my dog like it was made for him! This is a nice quality shirt and worth the money! Our dog is of bulldog descent so he sunburns very easily - this works wonderfully! He looks so incredibly cool in this great rashie! I will buy more and highly recommend this product! The only problem we have, is our other dog (his sister) is so jealous she pulls it off of him if we are not watching them!
