Not a bad Playmate video calendar, not one of their best but not bad, certainly not one of their worsts (and they have some bad ones, trust me). A run down of the girls: Kelly Galagher is cute, nice breasts, but her vignettes aren't that great. Cindy Brown is very pretty, her second scene encrusted in jewels (and nude) is very nice. Maria Checha gets very naked, but I didn't think she was that great. Stacy Sanchez is fantastic! Both of her vignettes are awesome. In the first one she has a country-western theme, and when she takes off that white dress to show off her statuesque body, it is mind-blowing. Amazonian figure with a really great rear. Her second sketch is great too, sort of a catwalk/fashion shoot theme. Lisa Marie Scott is next on the tape, she has a nice nude ballet sequence. Traci Adell is excellent, a gorgeous brunette with bewitching eyes. In her second segment, she does this artist's model/scupltor skit, and it is great. She starts out the skit topless, her awesome and beautiful bosom in full display for all to see, wearing little denim shorts, which she soon takes off and lets us get a good look at her anatomy. Nice. Rhonda Adams is a pretty blonde, though as Playboy has so many she doesn't really stand out. Her first segment with her giving a birthday party for herself (?!) is not bad, where she receives and tries on lingerie, but too brief. Her second segment sucks. Danelle Folta is next. Yes she is pretty, is great in the newstand specials, and has some good segments in other videos, but her two segments in this one aren't any good in my mind. Elise Bridge is kinda small-breasted and her very visible tan lines are distracting, she made no impression on me. Melissa Holiday was excellent, her first segment as a nude/topless magician's assistant, very nice, and the second one just plain great, lots of great breast shots. The last two, Victoria Zdrok and Julie Ciallini, don't do anything for me. I know Julie is a PMOY but I never thought her that great looking, and her chest was not that enticing. I know she (and Victoria) have their fans, but I am not one of them.

All in all not a bad buy, worth it for Traci, Melissa, Stacy, and Cindy in my opinion.

This is one of the early Playboy DVD releases, with no animated menus or trailers, or bonus features. 12 video segments, one for each Playmate, each Playmate getting about 4-5 minutes of screentime. The quality isn't that good, which has been a characteristic of Image releases of Playboy DVDs.

After seeing some of the more recent Video Calendar DVDs with mostly blonde Playmates, this DVD was a treat to view some brunette Playmates. There are many hot Playmates here, but who you like will depend on your particular taste of women.

About half of the Playmates have small busts, probably 34B or smaller. 3 of them are about average size, while only 3 others are what I would call busty. If you're a fan of big racks, you won't find any 38DDs here.

I would describe the majority of Playmates here as cute and perky, like the Latina from Columbia, Maria Checa, or the hot ballerina from Texas, Elisa Bridges.

For several other Playmates like Cindy Brown, Danelle Folta, Traci Adell, and Kelly Gallagher, this is their only appearance on any of the Playboy DVDs that have been released so far.

6 of the ladies are brunettes, while 2 others have dark blonde hair. Only 4 of the Playmates have light or fair blonde hair.

This DVD is best enjoyed by those who are fans of these Playmates already, which I am of several of the ladies here. If you're new, stick to the more recent Video Calendars which have a better video quality on the Universal releases and longer running times.

Playboy / 1996 Video Playmate Calendar is 57 minutes long and was released on video on November 14, 1995. The Playmates are most of the time nude in this calendar video with the exception of three. They are:

Lisa Marie Scott takes the bronze
Elisa Bridges gets silver
Julie Lynn Cialini goes home with the gold

The Playmates are addressed by the year of a wall calendar and not the month they were in Playboy. Good example is Julie Lynn Cialini; she was in last year video calendar too. Her are my comments on each of the Playmates as they are shown.

Kelly Gallagher\Miss January-Full nudity a few moments into segments one and two.
Cindy Brown\Miss February-Brief moments of full nudity in segment one and full nudity through segment two.
Maria Checa\Miss March-Maria is fully nude 75% of the time in segment one and abut 60% of the time in segment two.
Stacy Sanches\Miss April (Playmate of the Year 1996)-A little bit of full nudity in segment one and Stacy is nude for about 90% of the time in segment two.
Lisa Marie Scott\Miss May-Lisa starts off being fully dress in her ballet outfit, then she is topless, and finally fully nude. In segment two she is topless only.
Traci Adell\Miss June-A couple of quick shots of Traci being fully nude, but most of the time the clothes stay on in segment one. Traci is completely nude throughout segment two.
Rhonda Adams\Miss July-Rhonda is nude a few times in segment one and shows more nudity in segment two.
Danelle Folta\Miss August-Danelle is completely nude a minute into segment one and 95% of the time in segment two.
Elisa Bridges\Miss September-Very, very little nudity in segment one and a little more in segment two.
Melissa Holliday\Miss October-Melissa starts off topless, this nude and switches back and forth in the magic segment. Melissa is topless only in the second segment.
Victoria Zdrok\Miss November-Victoria is never completely nude in segment one. Victoria starts off segment two fully nude, then she is topless and fully nude at the end of the segment.
Julie Lynn Cialini\Miss September (Playmate of the Year in 1995)-Julie is completely nude a few times in segment one and topless only in segment two.

Playboy / 1996 Video Playmate Calendar gets a B.

Man, Stacy Sanches and Victoria Zdrok really have what it takes to get your engine running!All of the other playmates really heat up the screen in the best playmate calendar in recent memory.

As usual Playboy have brought some beautiful playmates in a fantastic video. You'll especially like the library scene with Victoria Zdrok! And Julie Lynn Cialini will blow you away!

I think Julia Cialini and Stacy Sanches are the best part of this tape. But Dannelle Folta and Victoria Zdrok are also two of the most beautiful ladies your likely to ever find.

#1 to me is Lisa Scott who is a 1/2 Japanese dancer and is my co-favorite 1990s Playmate (with Rachel Marteen), but she has better scenes in "Rising Stars & Sexy Starlets" and "Wet & Wild VII: Hot Holidays". I belong to two Yahoo Groups that have many photos of her, and I often check her website. I studied Japanese in college.
#2 is Maria Checa from Colombia who has sexier scenes than Lisa does in this video, and she has other good scenes in other "Playboy" videos I own.
#3 is Sexy Soviet Victoria Zdrok who has better scenes in "Sexy Lingerie 5". January 2009 Playmate Dasha Astafieva liked my greeting to her in Russian on Twitter. I studied Russian in college.
#4 is Danelle Folta whose scenes are rather sexy. She has some in a "Wet & Wild" video too.
#5 is Elisa Bridges whose untimely death was unfortunate. Her scenes are sexy in this video.
#6 is Kelly Gallagher who is rather sexy and her scenes aren't bad, as far as "Playboy" videos go.

I'd say 4 ½ stars because it doesn't have many of my absolute favorites but it has a lot of overall quality. Best Part is no dud of the year candidate, well that & Elisa Bridges. She is one of my absolute favorites. A lot o brunettes & soft/natural bodies for those who complain about playboy being a lot of blondes with fake boobs.

Kelly Gallager is a cute girl with a nice body that starts things off in the right direction.

Cindy Brown is a cute girl with an adorable 1st clip.

Maria Checa has nice boobs.

Stacy Sanchez has good clips though not one of my favorite girls. At least I can see why a lot of people like her unlike say Anna Nicole which I just don't get.

Lisa Marie Scott is ok. She adds more soft boobies to the mix.

Traci Adell has great eyes & nice boobs.

Rhonda Adams is a cute girl with beautiful bouncy boobs.

Danielle Folta is a pretty & petite girl.

Elisa Bridges is another absolutely beautiful petite girl. Just something about her I really like.

Melissa Holiday is cute enough & adds another pair of nice boobs.

Victoria Zdrak is cute enough but the hairstyle in the 2nd clip sucks.

Julie Cialini ends the year with a great 1st clip. Great face & smoking hot little body.

Obviously not all of us will like the same segment or the same girls. Traci Adell is incredibly sexy with those eyes and everything else. Rhonda Adams is very sexy, I'd say particularly so in the vignette that's sort of the workout video with steam and dripping everywhere. I'd have to agree that Cialini was never my favorite PMOY, but I've rarely felt the PMOY was the best looking one.

If you like Traci Adell, and Kelly Gallagher then but this video. They are the 2 best playmates of the 90's (in my opinion).
