Of the calendar series, this may be one of the best years. An exciting, energetic video, a must for the calendar collector, and a good beginnig for the person who is curious.

For a Playboy tape, this is not too bad - but it's not too good either. Since the subject matter is hot naked chicks I still loved the tape. Obviously all the women are DDG (drop dead gorgeous) which makes me wish I got to run the camera for the video shoot. Speaking of running the camera, you will see plenty of lovely faces, pretty smiles, and supple breasts, but you won't see much buttocks. When you do see the model's buns it's usually a quick glance during an action shot, such as when the Playmate dance, or walk, etc. In my opinion, Heidi Mark, Rachel Jean Marteen, and Alicia Rickter (who provides the tape with the finest bun shot) are the hottest girls on the tape. Overall, not bad for Playboy, but I wish they would show more nudity and close-ups.

Alicia Rickter & Samantha Torrez are probably the best on the video. To me they should be the "mid-level" stars not the stars. It lacks a true star.

Heidi Mark & Kona Carmach get honorable mentions this year. They are also good "mid-level" girls.

Shauna Sand has a very pretty face & hair in the 1st clip then bad hair in the 2nd clip. She should consider a breast reduction.

The rest I'll lump into the okay category & that sums up the year, mostly just okay.

Playboy / 1997 Video Playmate Calendar is one hour long and was released on video on October 15, 1996. This is like a repeat almost with the 1996 video calendar. The only different is eleven new Playmates; Stacy Sanches was in the 1996 video calendar. There were only three Playmates who tied for first place for being conservatively nude: Heidi Mark, Rachel Jean Marteen, and Gillian Bonner. Other then those three, the other nine Playmates know how to express them selves.

Victoria Fuller\Miss January-Victoria is fully nude 85% of the time in segment one and she switches back and forth from clothes on and being nude or topless in segment two.
Shauna Sand\Miss February-Shauna shows some nudity in segment one and a little more nudity in segment two.
Donna Perry\Miss March-Quick takes of full nudity in the seal segment and full nudity towards the end of segment two.
Samantha Torres\Miss April-Quick takes of Samantha being fully nude or topless; otherwise the clothes stay on in segment one. She strips down to full nudity in segment two, but is hard to see sometimes.
Karin Taylor\Miss May-Full nudity on the swimming pool segment and full nudity in segment two.
Holly Witt\Miss June-Holly is fully nude 60% of the times in segment one and even less in segment two.
Kona Carmack\Miss July (Playboy (Japan): Playmate of the Year 1997)-Kona keeps the clothes on in segment one with a few quick shots of her being topless. Kona strips into full nudity in segment two.
Heidi Mark\Miss August-Most of the time the clothes stay on and she is completely nude 20% of the time in segment one and two.
Alicia Rickter\Miss September (500th Playmate)-Fully nude towards the end of segment one. Alicia is fully nude in the majority of segment two.
Rachel Jean Marteen\Miss October-Rachel shows some nudity in segment one and less in segment two.
Gillian Bonner\Miss November-Gillian is completely nude 40% of the time in segment one and topless only in segment two.
Stacy Sanches\Miss December (Playboy's Playmate of the Year 1996)-Some nudity in segment one and full nudity towards the end of segment two.

If Playboy Video Calendar ever wants to get an A from me, then they are going have to step it up. Playboy / 1997 Video Playmate Calendar gets a B.

Stacy Sanches alone is what makes this tape. There are some other gorgeous babes too. But overall, if your looking for something erotic, stay away from Playboy. They spend too much time trying to be artistic and not enough showing the women.
