This doesn't contain any graphic nudity, it's more artsy & erotic than pornographic. Isn't that why most people check out Playboy over the "other mags" to begin with?

Summer Altice has the best performance of the video, IMHO. She's gorgeous, funny, yet sexy all at the same time - a must have for all Summer fans!

Since Amazon.com doesn't have it listed, this DVD contains segments with the following Playmates: 2001 PMOY Brande Roderick, Irina Voronina, Lauren Michelle Hill, Shannon Stewart, Victoria Silvstedt, Summer Altice, Buffy Tyler, Nicole Van Croft, Neferteri Shepherd, Heather Kozar, Crista Nicole and Cara Michelle.

If ya like any of these girls, I'd definitely pick this one up. Most of the Victoria Silvstedt & Heather Kozar footage is on their PMOY DVD, but if ya want footage of the other girls, this is a must have.

This is one of the most tragic wastes of female beauty Ive ever seen Playboy produce. ... This had to be one of the most unexciting Playboy videos Ive seen. ... Almost every Playmate segment in this video has guys in it. Then there is the terrible production style: extreme close-ups, dizzying jump-cuts, cuts from a nude Playmate to her fully clothed on a bicycle and back again until you want to scream. The crowning absurdity is the Brande Roderick sequence. She rolls about on a bed in a bra and panties while a voice-over reads bad erotic poetry in an English accent, while the video cuts to shots of the poetry and some middle-aged guy in 18th century dress that is supposed to be the poet. She gets less screen time than the shots of the poetry. Its so terrible its hilarious.

I purchased this DVD based on the fact that it starred Nichole Van Croft and found several other beautiful models contained within: Irina Voronina, Lauren Michelle Hill, Shannon Stewart, Brande Roderick, Buffy Tyler, Miriam Gonzolez, and Crist Nicole. The others were okay but not great. The best sequences have to be Shannon Stewart and Miriam Gonzolez. The others are good but not incredible. My only gripe would have to be the high-pitched squeal that is Nichole Van Croft's voice. Looking at her frame you would never guess that she would have a helium voice.

Definately a great addition to any collection.

Okay I got this video on VHS and I must say I did enjoy it alot.
The video lasted about an hour and a half which is about 30 minutes longer than most playboy videos. Some of the women were extremely attractive like Buffy Tyler, nicole van croft and Crista Nicole. Sometimes the scenes with all the 12 playmates could be dissapointing....like a scene with nicole van croft when she is on the beach in a skimpy bikini running around and then the next shot she's topless then the next she's totally naked which dissapoined me because it would have been great if we'd seen her slowly peeled off her bikini but no. The scene with Buffy Tyler when she's with her boyfriend is great except for the stupid music. But about 89% of the time all the playmates are naked and doing seductive movements etc...Each playmate gets a fair amount of time each before the next one is featured. Apart from a few minimal dissapointments I did enjoy it alot and i'm sure you will if your looking for 12 women who are naked alot.

Brande Roderick - Not big on this.
Irina Voronina - stands out - with some great revealing runs down to the tropics. There is a great sequence with the camera zooming in has she pops her knees open - truly a freeze frame moment.
Lauren Michelle Hill - reluctant to share it.
Shannon Stewart - average
Summer Altice - This is worth the price of the whole DVD. unbelivable opening sequence with pans and scans of her nude form with great face shots between scans of her 'slot'. In the next sequence she disrobes and the the camera finishes between her thighs inches from her box.
Buffy Tyler - nothing special

Neferteri Shepherd - gorgeous body - loves to spread and reveal her **ss*. She really works it.
Crista Nicole - plastic everything - just one or two trips down to the little lips.
Cara Michelle - big girl, natural, nice revealing opening sequence. Nice closeups of her **ss*.

The main drawback of this DVD, in my opinion, is the annoyingly inept manner of camera work; with each scene lasting for only about 1 second before changing into another, there is little time in which to really relish each of the women. This is a shame because the women on this disc are all exceptionally lovely. The second flaw of this production is the god awful quality of the 'music'. It is so bad that I had to mute the TV at certain points in the show in order to keep on watching without getting irritated. Nonetheless, to have 12 of the most beautiful women in the world magically appearing in your house at the push of a button, naked even, is not an opportunity to pass over lightly.

Another calendar from Playboy, another selection of 12 gorgeous girls. The usual high standard that you'd expect, and the same format as other Playboy DVDs, though this one has the girls in some more dramatic sequences. There's period costume and historical settings, and it all works very well.

There is also the familiar 'sound-a-like' music. Songs in the style of Sting and U2 are most noticeable. Usually this kind of copycat music is the kiss of death, but somehow Playboy keep getting away with it. The U2 style song in particular is so good that you wish the real U2 had recorded it. The only drawback is Playboy's continual insistance on adding a couple of (I assume) lighthearted sections, always shot in terrible bright lighting with the girls looking embarrassed at having to act so dumb. No more, please.

The highlight is the closing sequence featuring Brande Roderick as an aristocratic lady in 18th century France getting hot and bothered while clandestinely reading 'Philosophy in the Bedroom' by the Marquis de Sade. A nice touch by Playboy, guessing that most people will have never read this book, which is actually quite twisted, sexually. The whole scene has high production values with great light and dramatic effects. Unusually, the music is an orchestral piece that pounds sensuously to a climax. Ok, so the voice over of de Sade reading his work may be in an English accent instead of French (why?), but we can allow Playboy a little artistic licence. Though not to everyone's taste, as evidenced by other reviewers here, I think it's about as hot as any sequence Playboy have ever filmed.

Anyone who enjoys the dramatic element as well as shots of girls rolling around in the sand (and hey, there's plenty of that too!) will appreciate this DVD. There is also a good Anne Rice style vampire scene featuring Shannon Stewart. Despite a few minor flaws, still one of Playboy's best.

This PB Video Calendar is much like most of the other ones. How much it will appeal to you will depend on how much you like the typical plasticky Playboy playmate which tends to be 11 out of 12 most years. There were probably 3 playmates which are naturally built which is more than usual (Summer, Lauren, and Cara) which was a nice bonus for me.

Also, as these calendars seems to be more explicit than anything you'd see in the magazine so you fans of a particular playmate will find the video magazine to be worthwhile. The segments of each playmate are always split up into two "music videos" showing each girl in two different themes.

This video has a nice bonus in that it offers a full 50 segment of the Calendar 1992 (but don't hold me to that, I could be wrong about the year).

I've been collecting the Video Calendars since 1992 and must say this is the best so far. Beautiful women, close up shots, and did I say beautiful women? This seems to be a great production piece and the bonus features are pretty good. You get data sheets for the playmates and a listing of every playmate's video and a trip down memory lane for older playmate calendars. Sure it's the same old music and you'll probably need to buy other videos to get the rest of the older playmate videos, but Shannon Stewart, Nichole Van Croft, Crista Nicole and Lauren Hill makes it worthwhile.

I just bought this DVD today, And I was very impressed with Playboy and how they featured the girls remember playboy is about art and tastefully done work! the playmates were awesome,especially nefeteri scene, also Cara was very beautiful being she is 6'2" her curves and body is a delight, Van croft also is hot in this DVD her upper chest is something to really look after for quite some time to bad these parts are just segments! I really enjoyed and like this DVD very much and recommend it for couples!
