A simply bland College Girls DVD, May 1, 2001

This is among the duller Playboy DVDs available. It has 11 video segments, each about 4 to 5 minutes each. Each girl gives a narration about herself, and this narration continues throughout her own segment, occasionally mixed with background music during the scene.
The co-eds shown here appear to have been real college students, instead of Playmates or models posing as college students. This authenticity doesn't help the DVD in terms of entertainment, though, as this footage is a bit old, dating back to 1994. Jenny McCarthy does appear during a segment with one of the co-eds, but she appears far too little here. Fans of Jenny should stick with the Video Calendar or POY DVD.
This is among the first generation of Playboy DVDs coming out in 1997, where there are no animated menus, bonus materials, preview trailers, or stills gallery. It is a bare-bones DVD that automatically starts up once the DVD is loaded into your player.
Several of the 11 girls here are cute and pretty, none overly beautiful or hot enough to be worthy of Playmate status. There are maybe 2 or 3 video segments worth watching again, but overall, the DVD is not a keeper.
Rent it first if you're curious, but I don't consider it worthy of buying. If you're looking for non-Playmates, this DVD might be for you. Otherwise, I'd recommend getting Freshman Class or Girlfriends DVDs instead.

Overall a very enjoyable video, August 21, 1999

You have to get over the fact that Jenny MCcarthy who is on the cover is hardly in the video. A wonderful set similar to the cover is in her video. Beyond that, the video take you through a slow moving sequence of girls, most of which haven't appeared in a video before. This is a refreshing change from the "lets splice together a new video from already released stuff" school. There is not any clips of them at their respective schools or anything like that. I thought that would have been a little more interesting then the contrived plot scenes that were in the video. Still the refreshing faces and nice sets made this one worth watching.

Alluring and Natural College Women, April 20, 1999

Very nice presentation, and some knock out college women. All looking very natural, which is quite a nice change from some of the material we're seeing from Playboy as of late. Only two duds in the bunch, mainly due to the foolish situations that they are put in. But highly recommended for the scenes that do work. Jenny McCarthy is on the cover, but has only a brief spot, and not a great one at that.
