4.0 out of 5 stars Softcore porn movie at it's best, October 4, 2000
By A Customer
A film that says it all by the video cover. Two college students take a cross country road trip to Malibu where sorority girls are ready for action. If you're looking for a movie in terms of acting, you aren't going to get much. If you're looking for a lot of female nudity, this film will definitely make you smile.

3.0 out of 5 stars Decent, chockful of nudity and laughs, April 25, 2001

I must have laughed so hard during certain parts of this movie that if I was in a movie theater, I would've embarrassed myself. And that is actually the best thing about "Fast Lane to Malibu" is its overabundant sense of humor, and how it takes itself with the joking, tongue-in-cheek knowledge that it is, in fact, just a straight-to-video skin flick,.... the scenes are often cut short as if they were just eager to get it over with. I didn't understand that, and I'm not complaining, because there are some truly inspiring scenes in this movie that involve a freeze-frame of everyone on the screen except one character, and that character proceeds to engage in a Shakespearean-style way of expressing their thoughts to the audience. I hadn't seen anything like that in a movie in a long time, and it was kind of refreshing to see some low budget skin flick writer utilize a time honored storytelling tool. Oh well... but that wasn't the point of this movie. The point was the sex and the women, who are (almost) all very good looking and sensual in their own way. If this was the standard for other films of the genre, they would all be a lot better.

5.0 out of 5 stars great, March 21, 2002

The best thing about this movie is Tracy Ryan and the girl they pick up on the way. Kira Reed is in this but not enough.
