Playboy has a reputation for going really soft with their videos. This video has a harder edge.

Now if you are an old-school Penthouse fan, it won't be hard-edged enough for your tastes, so keep that in mind for the rest of my review.

However, considering that this is Playboy, I was surprised that it wasn't all fluffy, glamour stuff. Considering the video is close to eleven-years-old, I am further amazed by it. Not only has it aged well, but it is still more explicit than some contemporary Playboy videos.

The primary reason I purchased this was due to Shana Hiatt. I have recently got into Hold 'em, and she hosts the "World Poker Tour". As usual when my radar picks up a new hottie, I Googled. That's when I found out about this video. I had to buy it. I was just expecting some glamour shots of her in the buff. I got so much more! If there had been some kissing with her male co-star, this would have been a full-blown softcore Skinemax scene!

Not only did Shana blow my mind, but there were at least three other ladies on this video that did the same! The rest were great, so don't get me wrong. I just found four of the ladies to be perfect, at least in this video.

The bottom line is that a video done by normally-tame Playboy over a decade ago is still hotter than most. If you're on the fence with this one, I have to recommend that you buy it.

I just have to say that Angel Boris is my goddess! I love this beauty, and she puts on one great "show" in her segment, taking off a slight dress on a moonlit beach to the hypnotic beat of a native drum. Wow, wow, wow! The whole DVD is worth it for this segement. Just -- wow, all I've got to say.

Shana Hiatt is really great too, at the end of the disc. Kristin Holland is really cute, but didn't get that great a segement. Michelle amongst the trees is also a terrific bit! All in all, some great, very steamy stuff to make you dream of Hwaiian beaches, and tight, tan bodies!

Plenty of beautiful women in one of the most perfect places on Earth: Hawaii. All the girls look incredible, cute, perfect. The sound isn't as good as i expected and the image it's full screen. Not too many extras for a DVD that left satisfied after all. Buy it, you won't be disappointed.

Exotic locales and glistening nude female bodies make this a must-own DVD. Debbie, Angel, Sung Hi, Lana, Michele, Doreen, Shellani, Ashley and Shana in no particular order, give what I believe to be the best "performances" on the disc, while Amy, Sarah, Scottie and Kristin deliver great, but not stellar segments. They are all at least a tiny bit ditzy, some considerably more so than others, but who is really listening to the commentary? The male actor on the disc occasionally gets in the way, especially during the Shana Hiatt segment but can generally be easily ignored. The quality of pacing and length of the segments is a matter of personal opinion but the quality of the content cannot be denied.

This being my first Playboy video purchase, I cannot find much to complain about, including the price. This was basically from the relatively early stages of DVD technology, so its special features are minimal. The girls themselves are pretty special features in their own right.

I have owned this on VHS since the original realease when it was a number one best seller for what seemed like forever. It is tame by 21century standards, but the women are beautiful Hawaiian Tropic women, compleatly NUDE in erotic frenzys as the never before nude models get naked & rub themselves to satisfaction in front of what they know are millions of excited males. THIS DVD GETS THE JOB DONE!!!!! These women really ENJOYED making this DVD.
You will ENJOY watching it.

Playboy / Girls of Hawaiian Tropic, Naked In Paradise is fifty-eight minutes and was released on video on May 9, 1995. Thirteen lovely ladies are featured in this DVD. In the beginning of the video the air time was quite long. It took twenty minutes just to go through three ladies. Toward the end the ladies air time seen to get shorter. There is a lot of white in this video as you are about to find out. You have one Playboy Playmate and one future Playmate. This is the DVD that started it all for Angel Boris Playboy career; though her hair looks a mess. Here are the ladies in the order that they appear.

Debbie Ann\Paradise-White robe comes off to see white two piece lingerie; Debbie becomes topless and finally naked
Angel Boris (Playboy Playmate of the Month for July 1996)\Moonlit Beach-Wearing a long white dress, dances to the rhythm of the drum and begins strip down. First topless then fully naked
Sung Hi Lee\Passion Fruit-Wearing a white dress on by a stream and becomes topless for awhile and then completely naked
Lana Gibbons\Jungle-Long white dress comes off and is wearing nothing but white panties, then the panties come off and hides hear nudity with a giant leaf and eventually become naked
Amy Hayes\Wild Orchids-Wearing a white see through shirt, white panties comes off, never completely naked except briefly at the end
Michelle Stanford\White Sandy Beach-When the white robe comes off she is most of the time naked. The robe comes on at the end of segment.
Sarah Hutchinson\Secret Island-Sarah is wearing a white bikini on a hammock, top comes off. Bottoms comes off next to a tree and she remains naked
Doreen Wetzel\Waterfalls-Doreen strips off the blue bikini at the waterfalls and stays naked.
Scottie Hood & Kristen Holland\Beach Sirens-Two ladies naked on a beach
Shellani Taarud\Lagoon-Shellani takes off her shirt and skirt in the lagoon and remains naked 98% of the time.
Ashley Allen (Playboy Playmate of the Month for August 1992)\Hawaiian Barth-Yellow skirt comes off the yellow bikini and stays nude. The black barth covers her body sometimes
Shana Hiatt\Volcano-Once Shana takes off the red clothes she remains nude in the rest of the segment.

My argument is with the DVD itself; it comes with no previews or bonus features. The only way it stands out as a DVD is you can pick the lady you want to watch instead of watching the whole DVD. If you still own a VHS player then save your money on the DVD. In the end this was an excellent nude Playboy video. Playboy / Girls of Hawaiian Tropic, Naked In Paradise gets an AAAAA+++++.

How about a review that actually has something to do with the material. Yes, your girlfriend was in it. Yes, you'd like to violate copyright law and post the content online. Yawn...

Not a bad disc- plenty of women and all of them tan of course, but only about half blonde (which is a good thing far as I'm concerned!) The scenes are a little too short, and don't show quite enough goodies, but the lush backgrounds help.

Okay, I'll cut to the chase:
I know one of the girls in this video. I knew her for years before she made this video.
Seeing her in this is a dream come true for me.
I can't explain it any more simply than that.
