Well you get over 12 hours of content featuring 150 playmates. This collection includes as a bonus the 1987, 1988, and 1989 Video Playmate Calenders. The best thing about this is if you watch it in order you can see the progression of the years and playmates in the series. Also you can see the playmates at their height of their careers and body fitness (specifically before they got knocked up or babied). Early on you can can notice the natural beauty versus the fakeness, implants, and god awful tattoos that show up later. My favorite time is probably the mid to late 90s since I recognize most of the names and remembered having the magazines and video calendars back then. However, a downside is finding out what has happened to them since then (thanks a lot wikipedia). In terms of video, there are times you will notice minor quality loss in the transfers. For Audio-there's nothing really great here. You will most likely hear the same unlicensed, repetitive songs from one DVD to the next but that's not what you should really be paying attention to anyway. So,if you are looking for one of the most complete collections of women and B-level starlets (except maybe Pamela Anderson) then this is the right one for you.

Well what can you say, with this you can the best and worst of the 90's. As far as nude females are concerned. You get to see the early 90's with big hair in multiple places. And finally you get to the mid to late 90's my favorite period for Playmates. Pretty much all of my favorites were in there, Stacy Sanches, Victoria Silvstedt, Karen McDougal, and several others. If you can stomach the price then you'll realize that for what you pay for each of the years seperately you are getting one heck of a bargain. Granted I don't watch the first 2-3 years just because I don't find the Playmates of that period to be very attractive. Apart from that the movies are the same just thrown together so you get a couple of years on each disc. By the way, good luck being able to sit through 12 hours of this!

Playboy: Playmate DVD Calendar Collection - The 90's is ten hours and thirty-one and was released on DVD on November 16, 2004. It is not the twelve plus hours it claims to be. Only three years, 1987, 1988, and 1990 are over one hour. The other ten years average around 55 minutes. Seven of the Playmates are featured in two Playboy Calendars; with the exception of Sherry Arnett, the other six are Playboy Playmates of the Year. Below is a list of the Playmates that are featured in two Playboy Video Calendars. In my opinion 1991 and 1998 were the only two conservative years where the Playmates were barely nude. The years 1987 through 1989 were the prototype\experimental years. In the first three years of the video Playmate calendars, it is mostly interview and not much nudity in the second half. Still this still takes you down memory lane of the Playmates that you forgot of years gone by. Also I included in the years, 1989, 1990, and 1997 a list of Playmates featured in that video. Playboy: Playmate DVD Calendar Collection - The 90's is a great set to own. Playboy: Playmate DVD Calendar Collection - The 90's gets an A-.

If you ever bought a Playmate Video Calendar DVD, this is a must-have since you can avoid buying them all individually, by getting this collection. That's just what this collection is, just two Calendars reproduced on one disc, so you have 5 discs for the 10 years in the decade. A bonus disc collects 3 final years of the '80s. The early years don't have the songs or music for each Playmate that we are so fimilar with with the current editions. If you already collected the Video Calendars when they came out, this collections doesn't serve much use. But if you are missing some years, then you can consider buying this, since it's a great value for under 20 dollars.

The total is correct - 12 women per year, but they've taken playmates from other months and years and placed them arbitrarily. This would be all right if everyone was there somewhere, but some playmates of the 90s are missing. For instance, Nikki Schieler September 97 and one of the very best, isn't even included; she's been replaced with a couple from 96. Every year is off. 87 has some from 85 and 84. Miss October 96 shows up as July 97. Make sure your favorites are included in advance. Oh well. Although I'm never disappointed by the women of Playboy, I'm usually disappointed with every photo shoot because of the large amount of time given over to shooting something besides the women, "artsy" angles and lenses which distort or blur supposedly to tease or impress photographers, dressing the women in provocative barely legal street outfits (my favorite) and barely giving us a glimpse with them turned away, mostly hidden, or so far away we can't see much, and a lot of quick, flashy MTV type of rapid fire shooting rather than letting us relax and enjoy the beauty of the women. Playboy could be so much better, considering the women they have to work with. A 5 rating for the women and a 2 for misleading organization and poor photo shoots.

I had to return this DVD collection because one of the discs was bad and wouldn't play, hence the single star. The viewable content was as expected. Had there not been a quality issue I'd have given 5 stars.

Since some of my VHS copies are getting choppy, I haven't seen some of these girls look so good in a long time. Many of my favorite playmates are on this collection & it's nice to be able to use the skip function to just play the ones I like & skip the rest. It makes the collection even better than I remembered.

One of the dvds is unplayable. I should have have watched them ALL sooner.
I could not get a refund from Amazon. I am disappointed. Since the merchandise was NEW and from AMAZON I had not expected a problem. I Learned the hard way.

I already have several of these on VHS but this collection puts everything together in one neat package. The quality is markedly better than VHS but still has some trouble playing one of the disks without crashing! I've learned to live with the substandard duplication processes Playboy uses with all their media. It's impossible for me to imagine that I could be so unlucky that most of my Playboy videos have some sort of problem on playback! I know what you're thinking and I have several different players and these problems only occur with Playboy material.
