I'll admit that I was a little adamant about ordering this table. Many other brands of similar tables didn't have very good reviews. But, the price was good, and I'd read good things about Amazon's return policy, so I figured, "what the heck!"
It arrived intact, and undamaged, (so far, so good!)and it took my daughter and I about ten minutes to assemble. It worked, but I was a little disappointed with the puck action. It didn't "glide" like I thought it should. Upon closer inspection, the table surface had a fine layer of dust on it, apparently from the manufacturing process. I grabbed a can of Pledge from the wifey, sprayed just a TINY bit on a rag, and wiped it down. WOW! What a difference! I would like to add that the key word is TINY, here, because it looks like too much could plug the air holes in the table top.
Bottom line, it works great, is a lot of fun, and not very expensive. It could use a longer power cord, as it has to be pretty close to the wall, limiting foot traffic between it and the wall. But that's probably part of the master plan. If I could walk between it and the wall, I would surely rip the cord out of the motor!
If air hockey is your thing, then...GO FOR IT!

Opened the box to assemble the table and found that the plastic corner had been damaged. This rendered the table unusable and it is being returned. I hate reviews where people give low scores because of damaged goods. This isn't the case here.

The quality of the table is poor for the price. If the table hadn't been damaged already, it likely would be so within a few weeks of being used by my kids. Also, the pucks and strikers are laughable. I really couldn't believe how small and cheap they were.

The one positive appears to be the return policy from Amazon. So far it looks to be top notch - will see.
