This is the first time I read any books from this author. Was I surprised! Book 1 Taken and Book 2 Played were both exciting and kept me turning the pages faster and faster. I usually can tell by the first 10 pages if I am going to like the way the author writes....I was hooked immediately at Ms. Freethy's sytle of writing. These books had a little of everything. I just bought her other two books, Silent Run and Silent Fall. So far I am enjoying them just as much. If you want a fast, exciting, can't put down book these are the ones to get. You will not be disappointed.

Both books in this series are awesome! Taken book 1 in this series starts out great and book two in this series ends it. At first I was a little skeptical but once I finished I was glad I did and not disappointed!

Freethy PLAYED my mind as well.

This is the 2nd of the Deception Series of Freethy and I liked every part of it. I loved the way Freethy created the twists. All along, i was lead on to believe that Evan will succeed in getting the Diamond but in the end, she created a twist that was so unpredictable.

Romance part, however, is SWEETER and more realistic. That is what I liked about Freethy's characters, she makes them realistic to the point that her COUPLES also think about their careers while considering their love and reality to each other.

Im glad its a happy ending and Im sad the series has to end. : )

Not as good as the first book but I liked the romance aspect between J.T. and Christina. We finally get closure from the first book.

these series by Barbara Freethy are the best mystery stories I have read in a long time! I had to read the books back to back. couldn't put the book down. you won't be disappointed!!
