Super Price and Works Great,

This review is from: Car MP3 Player FM Transmitter with SD Slot and IR Remote (SD/MMC/USB Port/MP3) (Electronics)
Buy with confidence. I purchased this item with some trepidation and not a lot of high expectations but it has pleasantly surprised me. The device works great with both SD and thumb drives. I haven't even bothered to use my MP3 player though I'm sure it would work just as well.
A 1meg SD card holds over 300 MP3 files for more than 10 hours of music and I had several laying around to use for each style of music I listed to. With device volume set at or near max It produces good sound through the radio and I use the radio volume for fine control. Best features: full spectrum broadcast channel selection, remote control, equalizer by music style and volume control. Inexpensive enough to try with little risk. You can save albums but the device ignores the file associations. Only Negative: it could use a "random" feature as it only will play songs in the directory save order and ignores album information. For the price it is a minor pan.

Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Car MP3 Player FM Transmitter with SD Slot and IR Remote (SD/MMC/USB Port/MP3) (Electronics)
When I purchased this MP3 player for my car, I was surprised at the low cost. I now am happy that I spent so little to get a pretty good quality product. There are times when it gets a little fuxzy with static, and sometimes there is a slight buzz behind the music, but most of the time with a little adjusting I can eliminate the fuzz.
My one major negative is that it starts from song #1 every time you restart your car when using an SD card or USB drive. Unlike a cd that starts up where you left off, this always returns to song #1 so if you aren't sure what number you were on when you turned the car off, good luck finding your place. I do enjoy the ability to plug in sd flash cards, usb flash drives or my MP3 player to the unit. The MP3 player is best also, because it remembers the last song you were listening to...unlike the SD card or USB drive.

I've been wanting to try a FM transmitter, however I didn't want to spend a lot for one. I seen this one on Amazon and decided to give it a try. The unit was shipped the same day I purchased and I had it within 3 days. I immediately went out and tried it in my truck. I was worried that my old dinosaur of an Alpine stereo would not be able to pick up the transmission clearly. I had nothing to worry about. The sound quality is equal to what I get on the regular radio stations. I get a little bit of background static driving through town, but you can only hear it when in between songs. Nothing I can't handle. This thing works great and I would recommend to anyone wanting to try it. The only things I found that I didn't like about it was that the only time you can use the remote with the unit is if you are using an SD card or the USB connection. If you want to use your actual iPod or MP3 player to control playlists (which you cannot set an play with the SD card) you need to use the headphone jack cable included. Also, don't be surprised if your remote doesn't work too well either. Mine works only after pressing the buttons several times. The remote is made of very cheap plastic, thin and flimsy. But since I'm using the iPod to control what's getting played and that doesn't need the remote, I'm not too worried about the remote or trying to get it replaced.
