While this player does a fairly good job of transmitting the songs clearly to the FM radio, reading the display during the daylight is difficult to impossible. The remote has to be very close to the player to function. also the unit doesn't support folders so all MP3s have to be placed into a common folder which makes it harder to locate and play a specific song.Otherwise it is an OK player and the sound quality is good. The signal is strong enough so that the radio doesn't overlay a lot of static during playback. If this player had a more easily read display and supported folders, it would be a great MP3/4 player.

Great idea for my older car that couldn't play my mp3s. I had purchased a different style on ebay, could never get it to function. I had great hope for this one and the price was great. When I received this unit, I was disappointed to find that it was made by same manufacturer. This unit at least recieved power from car charger, but could only access menu with remote and that stopped working after 1 day. Can't recommend any mp3 units manufatured by Car.

Before I bought this player / transmitter, I had another MP4 player that I hooked up to a Monster transmitter. What a P.O.S. that was. . . This unit is terrific. Very clear and very large capacity. I put everything I owned in the way of music, and there is still almost a gig left over.I highly recommend this unit. Oh. . . I gave it four stars instead of five, because the remote doesn't work very well.
