AWESOME,
This review is from: The Players Club: Music From And Inspired By The Motion Picture (Audio CD)
This cd is awesome. Ice Cube and all the other artists make good cuts. It's not like some soundtracks with B-Side tracks and no name artists, this album has a lot of good songs on it. We Be Clubbin is easilly the best song but there are other great songs on this album. Buy this if you like rap and if you liked the movie. Trust me, you'll love this soundtrack.

First off, don't buy this CD if you don't like mainstream rap with lots of cussing and politically incorrect song titles like You Know I'm A Ho and Shake What Ya Mama Gave Ya (But Make Sure Your N**** Pays Ya). You will be terribly dissapointed. But if you are just looking for a fun CD that has cool beats, then this is for you. The best songs on here are Ice Cube's "We Be Clubbin'" and the remix to the same song. They are both jamming and will keep you dancing. The remix features DMX. The R&B songs are all really good, and are even better than the rap ones. I really like the song by Changing Faces called Same Tempo. It's really good! The only songs I don't like are the tracks by Jay-Z and Mia X. They obviously didn't put a lot of effort into them. The cussing does get excessive in some of these songs, but this is still a nonstop party that is just waiting to be played.

This album was clean. Master P and Ice Cube went off on You a ho. That was the tightest song on the cd. It gots hits like Splakaveli and We Be Clubbin on it. I think you need to get this album if you don't got it.

Not that bad but not that good,

"The Players Club" follows the same format as we have seen with many other soundtracks lately, a couple of good cuts filled in with filler by artists we hope to never hear from again. It suffers every time Ice Cube isn't on a track. The R&B is weak. Ice Cube fans would probably better off looking for one of his solo albums. All that said, unlike most of the other soundtracks lately it all seems to go together and really reminds me of a weaker, softer version of the 1994 "Menace II Society" soundtrack. The CD isn't great and really only should be bought by people who love these sort of soundtracks that seem to come out every week. Others should hope that Cube puts his "We Be Clubbin' (remix)" with DMX on one his own albums.

I looked all over for this cd!!! Didn't think to check with Amazon until my girlfriend asked. Where do you always order the cd's from? Glad to have purchased another unflawed cd from Amazon.com.

This album is ok. The best songs are We Be Clubbin, You Know I'm A Ho, and You Delinquent. It would have been better if there were more West Coast gangsta rappers and No Limit Soldiers on it, but overall it's not bad. Check it out!
