So, I originally got involved with the Talislanta world when I was 12 years old and had the classic Red Book. It was a simple but interesting game and different from everything else on the RPG market at the time. Absolutely unique. Now, the modern incarnation of the game keeps all of those great elements that made it so compelling to me when I was 12 and adds 20 years of development and all the advancements of the gaming industry without damaging the core elements of a simple, easy to play game. The changes in character customization alone make this game worth having and if you ever loved this game to begin with it is time to come back if you've never tried this game put down the same tired old Dungeons and Dragons type materials and try this game instead. 20 years and still NO ELVES (technically speaking).
