5.0 out of 5 stars Awesome, just wish Wizards had not abandoned the skirmish game
Very nice miniatures, excellent paint too. The only downside is that you only get 3 in a pack, but with production prices rising, it is to be expected. I do like in some ways that I can see the minis, though the excitement of the random pull is still something I enjoy.

3.0 out of 5 stars Decent, but odd choice of characters.
I picked up all of these for use as PCs and unique NPCs. The sculpts are pretty good, and the paint jobs are as good as can be expected (that is to say, not awful but not gonna win any awards either). The Wood Elf Ranger and High Elf, er, I mean 'Eladrin' Fighter are both pretty generically useful, but the Dragonborn Rogue is a bit odd. Personally, I'm still annoyed at...

The Wood Elf Ranger and High Elf, er, I mean 'Eladrin' Fighter are both pretty generically useful, but the Dragonborn Rogue is a bit odd. Personally, I'm still annoyed at a reptilian race having mammary glands, but aside from that it looks like they are wearing full plate, not leather. These are minor quibbles though. The larger one is the price. $3 (for the price Amazon offers - it is ~$3.67 if you buy it at the suggested MRP of $10.99) a figure seems a wee bit steep. Sure, they're decent sculpts, and ok paint jobs, but Reaper has more detailed pre-painted figures for about the same money (the heroes are $4.50, but have more colors, more attention to detail, and more figure detail). That being said, the elves are probably worth picking this set up for on their own.
