Product Description

Playful Chef is real cooking for kids. Help your child experience the wonderful world of food through the Playful Chef Complete Cooking kit. Playful Chef encourages children, and the adults who love them, to roll up their sleeves and engage in fun cooking adventures together. The Playful Chef is perfect for a weekend with the grandkids when multi-generation chefs share the kitchen. Or Playful Chef can provide hours of fun at your daughters sleep-over party. Just wach those girls giggle over Chocolate Mountain Lava Cake. Also, what about Daddy's night with the boys? Give Mom the night off and let the party begin with Pita Pizzas for all. The kit is packaged in a kid's sized backpack. Inside is a tool-belt sized apron with kitchen utensils: whisk, wooden spoon, spatula, sand timer, safety scissors, measuring cups and spoons and more. The key to the product are the five recipe/cooking lesson/nutrition cards where the child learns about cooking, math, science and healthy eating. It is a shared experience between adult and child that builds lasting memories and the enjoyment of family meals.

my kids loved this gift, they each got one for christmas. the small sized tools are perfect for my 7 year old, but my 9 year old already does better with adult-sized stuff. the measuring cups and spoons are cheap and had some ragged scrap plastic around the rims that i had to trim off. overall this gift has been great fun.

The apron is nice and the cooking supplies are not bad but I feel its very over priced and I was disappointed when it didn't come with the vinyl backpack that is was advertised with.
