More and more horse lovers are discovering the beauty of Arkansas for the first time by riding the many marked trails that allow them to explore the joys of the national forests at their leisure. Riding your own horse down secluded forest trails and along old logging roads offers a personal freedom not found in any other types of wilderness travel. The Arkansas Trail Riders Association, Arkansas Mule Riders Association, and The Backcountry Horsemen of the Ozarks take pride in these trails. We extend a warm welcome to those who would like to share our state's natural beauty. All we ask in return is your courtesy in helping maintain what we have worked so hard to build. What we have didn't come easy. Please follow all posted regulations and use your common sense. --This text refers to an out of print or unavailable edition of this title.

This has specifics, that you can count on, things you need to know before you get there, very practical and specific, a great great guide. Has very good information to help plan your trail ride camp and exploration... the best one I've seen.
