This is a seriously good recent jazz album (meaning the performers are alive). Robert Mazurek is such a controlled yet passionate player, and he really gets his ideas across well. Jeff Parker is one of the most interesting guitarists around. The compositions on the album are fresh and original. Purchase this one. I never get tired of listening to it...
