Really a great show for my grandson; he enjoys watching, and every show has valuable lessons, so he's learning in a fun way.

Great educational and interactive show for my 3 and a half year old daughter. She really enjoys watching Team Umizoomi and it keeps her attention throughout. She counts along with Millie, Geo, and Bot and answers questions they ask the children watching. Excellent to have on our Kindle for long grocery shopping trips...keeps her entertained in the cart so that I can focus on getting everything on my shopping list.

My son has been watching this for a year and I recommend this to any parent who wants to teach their pre-schooler math. My son started warching when he was 4 1/2 and by the time he turned 5, he knew most of his shapes--he identifies Octagon, hexagon, crescents, diamonds, squares, an rectangles to name a few. He also knows how to identify patterns , I mean this is only scratching the surface. There are so many ignorant cartoons out there that teach our kids all the wrong stuff but this is one of the good ones. It makes learning, for our kids, fun and exciting. Please let your child watch this.

My 2 year 8 month old granddaughter LOVES to watch Team Umizoomi. This show proves that learning math, basic geometry shapes and even abstract thinking is well within the grasp of toddlers if done creatively and playfully, as this show does.

For those of you not familiar with the show, each episode lasts about 24 minutes and the team uses their "powers" of math and related reasoning to solve a practical problem. It's an interactive show that encourages the children to participate with the team by shouting out when they see some object the team is looking for or to help them measure.

For parents or grandparents worried about their children watching cartoons with no content, have no fear about this show. The other day when I was walking with my granddaughter (who likes to carry her Fisher Price Team UmiZoomi Geo & Umicopter Nickelodeon she pointed to a Stop sign (which we had seen on a recent show) and proudly said "that's an octagon."

I have Amazon Prime, and can watch all of Season 1 for free; subsequent episodes are $1.99 each (much less if you buy the whole season). With the Amazon Instant Video app on my iPad 3 I have an easy way for my granddaughter to watch this when a TV is not available.

This show is great for my 3.5 year old, but is age appropriate for children from 2 to 5. They consistently cover shapes, patterns, and sequences. I'm glad that Amazon added this to Prime, makes it worth the annual fee and we have streamed this many, many times.

This is a new show on Nick Jr. (2010), created by the same people who brought us Blue's Clues. As a matter of fact, the voice of Bot is done by Donovan Patton -- the voice of Joe. Each episode has one or more educational themes like numbers, counting, measurement, patterns and shapes.

When Milli (dress changes to match patterns), Geo (has special shape-making belt), and Bot (belly screen) want to have cereal for breakfast, they find out they need milk. At the same time, the Umi alarm goes off, and it turns out kids all over Umi City have run out of milk as well, hence "The Milk Out." Milk is not available anywhere. The team zooms over to the farm, only to find the farmer is too sick to work. Using their math powers, the team gets the cows to their stalls for milking, and get the milk to the factory to fill all the cartons in the right order. Milli makes chocolate and strawberry milk with her power, and Geo puts together a super milk truck. The milk order is delivered to Umi City just in the nick of time. Educational themes in the show include: patterns, classification/sorting, and simple geometry.

My son has never taken to any other show the way he has to Team Umizoomi. Since he is being homeschooled, and his TV time is limited, this fits into our day perfectly. This is also one of our favorite episodes because we drink a LOT of milk at our house -- no soda!!

Another Video On Demand episode that we love is The Dinosaur Museum Mishap.
