I bought this as a gift for my daughter, and when we brought it home, we took it out of the box to check it out....The sleeping bag itself was the only great thing about this bed..It was very cute. The raised portion of the bed does not lay flat all the way across...It's like a hammock, only in the center is a solid bump. Leaving the chest area and leg area to sag, while in the middle of bed feels like having a stick in the crook of your back... We took it back.....this might work if you have an inflatable bed to put on top of it, so that you have more of a solid sleep area.

My grandaughters ages 7 and 4 spend weekends with us,they use to share a twin bed and I found it impossible to get them to stop fighting over the covers. I bought these beds for them and they love them. They put them together and climb in and no more fussing. They like to pretend they are camping. The only draw back is that the legs are short and not very sturdy.

We purchased this cot for our almost 6 y.o. daughter to use when traveling - it works great and She LOVES it!

There are comments on old reviews about a support bar in the middle that supposedly jabs kids in the back while lying on the cot. HOWEVER, at some point they obviously changed the design as THE FRAME SUPPORTS THE OUTSIDE, so the cot hangs, somewhat like a hammock but not tippy. NO PART OF THE FRAME POKES INTO THE SLEEPING AREA, and THERE IS NO MIDDLE BAR UNDER THE COT as referenced by previous, older reviews.

Our daughter says this cot is very comfortable and she sleeps easily in it with no problems. She is of average size for an almost 6 y.o. girl.

We often use a mini-kids sleeping bag inside for extra warmth and cushion, however, she's still comfortable in it without that. We really like this cot because it easily unfolds in one smooth maneuver, then you wrap the princess cover over it (it has elastic all the way around, so just slips over the main cot unit.

The princess cover is a bit like a sleeping bag, in that it unzips down one side. It also has a built in pillow. However, the princess cover is not heavy like a sleeping bag, but rather very lightweight. It would be great for warm summer nights, but otherwise we supplement with covers above and something below as well, otherwise the bottom can be cold due to the thin layers of only the princess cover and the tarp-like portion of the cot that the child lays on. You can throw the princess cover in the washer and dryer with no problems.

The cot unit easily folds up and both it and the princess cover fits easily into the bag that came with it. The bag has handles and is approximately 2.5 ft. long and about 7 inches around. It is super lightweight and easily carried for travel, camping, etc.

Obviously playhut realized the previous design was flawed and corrected the frame at some point, as this frame is very easy to use, durable and does not have any part that would poke into the sleeping area in any way. Please focus on the positive reviews if you want an accurate idea about this cot. We found all the positive commentary to be right on, yet none of the negative commentary was correct. We were so glad to have purchased this despite the negative (and inaccurate) commentary from some.

This is a really great cot and I highly recommend it to parents who could benefit from an easy travel bed, and grandparents or others who have kiddies who visit.

i just recieved today and it is very cute and my 2 yr old daughter loves it.
Makes nap time so much easier, she loves going in the sleeping bag
she doesnt even let me put it away .
The only negative is that theres a bar right in the middle that raises
up and would probably be very uncomfortable for an older child because it would dig right into their back.

Other than that its a perfect 10.
great to take to cookouts instead of napping on blanket in the grass with ants

I purchased two of these for my daughters. My 3 yr old took a nap in it the day it arrived! She loves it! My 9 yr old is small and still able to fit in it length-wise, but will probably only get a year or two use out of it. It has the horizontal strap/seam across the middle as others mentioned, but they didn't mind it at all. I bought the CARS version for my son and his had a large "X" strap/seam instead, so it is more comfortable. The sleeping bad is flimsy but you can always use your own bedding. I like it because it's off the floor and you don't have to inflate it. Great for hotels, sleepovers, etc.

There are a few reviews that says that there is a bar in the middle that hurts the kid's backs. That is ridiculous! There is NO center bar. My 9 year old nephew layed on it with my 4 year old daughter and commented about how comfy it was. The sleeping bag cover fits over the top of it very well. The person who commented that the 4 corners ripped as soon as she put it on, must've put it on wrong. The only thing that I found was wrong in the description is where it said that there is an inflatable pillow. The pillow feels like it is cotton filled. This bed is very much worth the money, and I am so glad that I purchased it.

cute princess design, but very flimsy material. I put the sleeping bag cover over the cot and when my daughter went to lie down, the 4 corners ripped! POOR design. Still, my daughter loves her new little bed but i wouldn't recommend it.

Fast shippment-easy assembly - center bar under sleeping bag area needed some additional softening - blanket or pillow surfficed -3/12 year old loved the bed. Would recommend highly -Mahalo from Hawaii

We travel a lot with our Grandchildren and these portable beds are the solution to the problems of sleeping childre and adults in hotel or resort rooms. Given a choice between the Slumber Lounger and an adult bed, the kids will pick the lounger everytime. They even want to use them at home, and will often fight over who gets to use the Lounger or the bed. A great product. They will not stand up to jumping or a 210 pound Grandpa falling on them!!

We bought this for our 2 year old daughter to sleep in on vacation. It worked out great. It sets up in less than a minutes and folds up just as fast. Perfect for hotel rooms and anywhere you need a quick toddler bed. It was close to the floor, so we didn't need to worry about her getting hurt if she rolled off. My only recommendation would be more padding. We padded hers with lots of extra blankets and it worked out fine.
