5.0 out of 5 stars Argueably his Best Solo Album, June 16, 2004

This review is from: Playin Up a Storm (Audio CD)
When this L.P. was released back in 1977 it was a "sleeper" not much press or acknowledgement. But it was released amid many a great albums for many music genres to be sure. Make no Mistake This Is a Classic! It has a very soulful yet loosly polished sound and feel. Greg covers some older songs in here beautifully well. It is I think his best smoothest effort. The Album moves from song to song like he had planned to do this collection for some time. He has some excellent musicians and backing him up and it serves to produce a flawless nostalgic album that is quite satisfying.

4.0 out of 5 stars Very Underated, March 5, 2006

This review is from: Playin Up a Storm (Audio CD)
This is a very good cd. Coupled with Laid Back and you have the best of Greg's work from that period. It is kind of short for a cd but it was an album full of great music. Not a bad cut on the cd, Come and Go Blues, Cryin' Shame, etc. Enjoy!
