The back has a self assessment. Besides interesting it is highly practical and inspiring!

I read this book from cover to cover. It's packed with insightful and useful advice for anyone who wants to climb the corporate ladder. It's great to learn from these women who have reached the ranks we all aspire to. Their wisdom and timely advice gave me valuable tools to use in my own career every day. I recommend this book for anyone who wants to get ahead.

Each of the women interviewed has important tips to share. If your goal is to be promoted, one woman's advice is to prepare your department for your departure by training people to handle your current duties. If you're indispensible, you may stay stuck right where you are. Another tip is to always look two positions ahead of where you are now. Great advice.

Debra Pestrak had done a marvelous job with this book. As a man I had to read it just to know what "they" were up to and all. I learned a LOT - not only of the extra hurdles women in business are so often faced with but a lot that can help me be better at being a man as well. This is a must read for women seeking to climb the ladder and it sure won't hurt men either!

Debra's work is remarkable. She takes you to the hidden trails that is only known to successful corporate women.

I wish more books like that were available for career women to find the proven paths to success.
