5.0 out of 5 stars Soundtrack of America, March 19, 2005
This review is from: Playing for Change (Audio CD)
This soundtrack from the award winning independent film "Playing for Change" captures the essence of the film which documents "street musicians" from LA to New Orleans to New York. This is raw American music through the talents of an assorted array of musicians and styles including blues, folk, doo wop, blue grass and latin. These artists play for all of the right reasons, they love the music and they love to entertain. They do it without the glitzy pre-packaged formulas seen too often today in "American Idol" type pop, rock and hip hop. If you like original American music, this CD should be added to your collection. After listening to this CD, the next time you pass an artist playing on the street or in the subway, you just may stop, listen, and drop some change. I have.

...but I cannot find it for sale anywhere. I guess I have to wait till spring 2009 for the new one. But, I will still want the original 2005 film. Does anyone know how/where I might be able to get it?
