Easily another 5 star live recording from David Lindley with percussionist Hani Naser (early 90's)- to me even better than their Bootleg #1. Acoustic slide virtuosity (and that booming Weisenborn lap slide's bass string) - including the incomparable cover of Jerry Lee Lewis' MEATMAN, taken from a real live bootlegger, as well as 8 other really good "long songs - live all over the place".

Since amazon doesn't keep these in stock, the best way to get them (as well as Lindley's earlier El Rayo-X and later duo recordings with Wally Ingram) is to head over to Lindley's website and get yourself a good deal, and the satisfaction of knowing you're buying directly from the source.

Just go to David Lindley's website where you can buy this cd for only $20. And the money goes directly to the musicians and not to somebody out to rip you off!

To be fair this official bootlegs should be released as one and with a standard price. Otherwise great renditions of his best and most versatile songs. A must for Lindley fans. A delicate balance of Americana. Yes, even better than the real thinga...
