Totally sexy. All out fun. These five football stars have me searching for my pom poms to cheer, "Go Team, go!" Trust me, this is one lockeroom lineup you don't want to miss. Have mercy, these boys know how to 'play'. *wink wink*

This was a co-written story by one of our favorite authors, Sophie Oak, and her gal-pal Chloe Lang. It's a little different from Ms Oak's other works. Not only does it feature football players, it is a little more surface than is typically her style. To be honest I've heard it described as a boinkfest, and frankly, yup, it is.

The team owner is at his wits' end. The team looks great until they make it to playoffs each year and his five prize players fall apart. With everything to gain, he hires therapist Tess Proffit to do some team building activities on his private ranch during the off-season with his super stars.

Curt, Mike, Kevin, Marcus and Randy are happy to take the one million dollar bonus pay for attending this little exercise until they realize Tess plans on the five of them baring their souls and actually doing some real bonding.

Not so much.

Where there is a will there is a way, and this determined therapist is willing to sacrifice her very own body to the team if that's what it takes for these five starting players to learn to work together. And heck, if it's working towards her pleasure... I am giving her a high five and telling her to go for it.

I'm all about character development. It is really tough to get into the hottest smut scene if you don't have anything invested in the characters. Well, it is for me at least. I like to know and care about my characters and celebrate their happiness and connections.

Plot:
The owner of the Bandits has brought in psychologist Tess to help overcome their losing streak. The five top players join her for intensive team-building sessions, but they really don't want to be there and they do everything they can to get out of it. When their latest plan results in Tess' feelings being hurt they suddenly find a reason to work as a team and bring Tess her very own HEA.

Comments:
- 2343 kindle locations, 34,605 words
- m/f, m/f/m, m/f/m/m and 1f/5m. Includes bdsm (spanking, ties, D/s play).
- This book stands-alone. It does not appear to be part of a series. (But do you think maybe it could be? I really liked them...)
- Tess enjoyed bdsm as a sub in the past - the scenarios played out in the book were not new to her, and she was, ultimately, a willing participant (within the bounds of domination).

Opinion:
Quick comment - I was initially put off by the plot description because I read "5 men force 1 woman into a bdsm situation where she is physically hurt". I also could not see how 5 disparate team-mates could do a menage and have a HEA without the woman coming off as promiscuous. This isn't what happens. The "hurt" is emotional, unintentional and really about misunderstood motivations. The 5-men-menage is appropriate within the bdsm scenario played, and Tess certainly doesn't come off as "a player", nor that she was "played" by the men.
This book is really really good. Honestly, it is far more than what I was expecting. On the sex side, while there are only three encounters, they are HOT, explicit, generous and quite long. We are emotionally entangled with the players and Tess; We Get It. The story arc itself is simple; there's no action, Bad Guys, emotionally abusive ex's waiting to destroy their lives.

Not crazy bout this one. Kinda short on the romance. More wham bam. It had a nicely packaged HEA that felt forced. Disappointing because I love all of Sophie Oak's other books!!
