More About the Author

Jim holds a doctorate degree in industrial psychology. Over the course of a 35-year career he was a university professor, human resources consultant to organizations, human resources executive, and corporate president of Federated Insurance Companies. He retired from business in 1996 and began writing and speaking. Jim is the co-author of eleven highly acclaimed gift books including: In His Grip, Playing the Game, A Champion's Heart, Finishing the Course, and The Master's Grip. He also wrote the story of his father's which he called Happy Trails to You. In 2010 he coauthored Fingerprints of Faith with Lenore Else. His most recent book is Beyond the Score: Relationship Keys for Golf and Life. He regularly posts encouraging thoughts on life, golf, and faith on his web site, www.beyondthescore.net.

I really enjoyed reading this book. It is very well-written and thought provoking. Like Armstrong and Sheard's first book, In His Grip, the illustrations in Playing the Game are beautiful.
