An excellent overview of the three stages of treatment.,

This review is from: Playing for Real: Exploring the World of Child Therapy and the Inner Worlds of Children (Master Work Series) (Paperback)
Dr. Bromfield provides an honest portrayal of his insights and errors in working with children through a play therapy modality. The cases are explained in some detail and all are thoroughly compelling. The book is divided into beginning, in therapy and ending sections. The cases themselves are not intended to be exhaustive of either the treatment, or the range of diagnostic difficulties experienced by children. The only possible negative may be that it would have been nice to have some of Dr. Bromfield's present analysis of what was occurring, or alternative steps he may have taken if engaging any of the children with his additional experience and knowledge.
