A true vintage item...
come with a real tape, which suggest how old it the book. I know this book for a while, I owned it back in the day and lost it since. Bought it again on Amazon, and working with students on this book. Great fundamentals, for every student; If you don't know the book: It gives short examples (4-8 measures) of grooves/riffs, from this era. Both guitar parts are written in notes and tabs, as well as the bass part. Drums part is written as well, which makes it a good book for drummer and bassist too. The tape (which I converted to a CD), offer all the tracks, when the 1st guitar is panned to one channel, second guitar to second channel, so you can easily isolate or eliminate one guitar, or the other by tweaking the balance knob, which getting less and less common (ipod for example, doesn't have it). |
