I liked the first 9 tracks. The last few were too slow and mellow for me. It was completely worth the $4.02 I paid for the CD, my favorite songs are, Child's intro to drums and Playing with scratches. There are a few more on there that are really good.

5.0 out of 5 stars operation of this recorded disc, March 30, 2008

Will result in
A a 15% elevation in saturated awesomeness
B rhythmic convulsions within 95% of the body
C 25% increase in party-neuron transportation

If you disagree with these findings I recommend throwing out what ever device your using to listen to it immediately as it is most probably an insult to everything you play on it.

I discovered this man's genius thanks to the magic of totally radio and solid steel (the best mix radio show i have encountered).
If you have found this then it is most likely that i dont have to point you in the direction of his music machine mix but if you've not heard it seek it out cause it is spectacular.

5.0 out of 5 stars A Sensational Artist for an Underrepresented Genre, May 25, 2011

Ruckus Roboticus falls under a genre that I like to call "mix hop". Using bits and pieces from old movies, Public Service Announcements and other songs, Ruckus (and others in his genre) create entirely new pieces of art for us to listen to and enjoy.

The whole album is really a great thing to just sit through and listen from tracks one to fifteen. My personal favourites are "How to Handle Grownups" (which features a loop from South Park - excellent), "A Child's Introduction to Drums" and "Everlasting Ghettoblasting Gobstopper" (featuring, I believe, samples from Saint-Saens "Carnival of the Animals" - or at least a very similar piece). I could listen to those three on repeat and never grow tired of them.

Ruckus is a fabulous artist. AWESOME party music! I play mix hop at all my dinner parties, and Ruckus Roboticus is always a headliner in my playlists.

4.0 out of 5 stars Interesting fun music, May 9, 2008

I like to try different styles of music, and am always looking for something "danceable" for my annual entry to a big dance party. This is very unique with some great rythms and fun combinations. I'm definitly going to include a couple of cuts in my dance mix. "Here We Go" and "A Child's Introduction to Drums" are two cuts I particularly liked. It's not something I'd listen to all the time, but a good CD to bring out to suprise a crowd.
