This is a very nicely packaged, low price alternative to "A Decade" greatest hits release. The ecofriedly design, and electronic liner notes are great. This is very thin on the "Happiness is Not A Fish That You Can Catch" missing the tracks One Man Army and Is Anybody Home? that could have easily fit, but that does not detract from the quality selections from other albums, nor the power of Stealing Babies that was included. Another good quick look from a different view of one of the 90's most overlooked bands.

Why are the "Best of" albums rarely the best of?,

It seems like "best of" albums or "greatest hits" are usually hook songs accompanied by rare ones in order to promote the lesser known songs. No matter what band or decade it is, there's always some song that should have been included that just isn't there. And I'm not talking about personal favorites, I'm talking about universally known songs. In this case, "4 a.m.", for one. People sing this song by themselves in the concerts all the time. Raine doesn't even sing it anymore, he just gives the mic to the crowd. Why would they leave this out? I am still giving the CD 5 stars because it's one of my favorite bands and the songs are great, and I am sure the song selection is not 100% made by the band. Great band, and I am eagerly waiting for the new release next week.
