This is a very nicely packaged, low price alternative to "A Decade" greatest hits release. The ecofriedly design, and electronic liner notes are great. This is very thin on the "Happiness is Not A Fish That You Can Catch" missing the tracks One Man Army and Is Anybody Home? that could have easily fit, but that does not detract from the quality selections from other albums, nor the power of Stealing Babies that was included. Another good quick look from a different view of one of the 90's most overlooked bands.

Why are the "Best of" albums rarely the best of?,

It seems like "best of" albums or "greatest hits" are usually hook songs accompanied by rare ones in order to promote the lesser known songs. No matter what band or decade it is, there's always some song that should have been included that just isn't there. And I'm not talking about personal favorites, I'm talking about universally known songs. In this case, "4 a.m.", for one. People sing this song by themselves in the concerts all the time. Raine doesn't even sing it anymore, he just gives the mic to the crowd. Why would they leave this out? I am still giving the CD 5 stars because it's one of my favorite bands and the songs are great, and I am sure the song selection is not 100% made by the band. Great band, and I am eagerly waiting for the new release next week.

Classic,

Our Lady Peace is a phenomenal band, flat out amazing. This CD (Very best of) is an incredible CD for many reasons;
1.) It differs in many ways from A Decade. This CD follows the same format of chronological order track listings, but it also has many of the OLP classics that never seem to get enough credit, such as; Car Crash, The Wonderful Future, etc. It almost can be considered the very best of the rest, when compared to A Decade (although in my opinion their is no 'the rest' with OLP because are tracks seem to have more pros than cons.) 2.) It has a very unique and interesting booklet when you insert the CD into a computer. 3.) Eco-friendly CD case that is also unique in its own right. 4.) Did i mention OLP is a fantastic band? A must have for OLP fans.

Its about time they finally put Car Crash on a best of. This has always been one of my favorite song ever since it first came out. Every time I see them I wish they would play this song. Has many of the good song not played on the radio.
