4.0 out of 5 stars Good, but not great
As a die-hard eighties fan, I have to say that this isn't the best compilation out there but it's a decent representation of what the decade offered. Most of the tracks here have appeared on numerous other collections over the years. However, there are a few rare tracks here such as John Cafferty's "On The Dark Side" and The Psychedelic Furs "Heartbreak Beat". Bonnie...

2.0 out of 5 stars Very Mixed Feelings.
First of all the the thing I hate the most in the whole world next to listening to Lawerence Welk (Ask your Dad) is getting stuck with a cheap cardboard CD case. LEGACY RECORDINGS PLEEZE! Three stars were removed from this review because you guys are too cheap to give us a little polystyrene. OK, I feel better. Actually the CD (Suprised it's not cardboard too.)is pretty...

Bonnie Tyler's "Total Eclipse Of The Heart" is in its long version. If you're just a casual fan you'll like this compilation. If you love the eighties, it's good to have but not highly recommended.

Actually the CD (Suprised it's not cardboard too.)is pretty good. There are a bunch of fresh tracks and the digital transfer is excellent. Here's what you gotta do. Buy it and a stack of blank Jewel cases. (Amazon sells 'em. Just do a search.) Now take a scissors and cut apart the front and back of the cardbard case. Peel of all the cardbard disk holding junk off and install the front and back into a blank jewel case. Next write an e-mail to <...> and tell them to NEVER, NEVER, NEVER release a CD in a cardboard case again. Jeese! that's such garage band stuff. Thanks!
