My son is 14 months old and enjoyed Little People very much but, they are static and lifeless plus they take up too much space. We bought this rescue set and he just LOVES it. The Playmobile figures have articulated bodies that bend their legs to sit on their cars plus they have a LOT more character variety (unlike farmer Ed and such)that lets kids identify them with their daily lifes. The best part is that the box resembles a little suitcase and he carries them with him everywhere.
