I was surprised by how much was packed in to this kit, even though I'd studied the picture. Everything fits together nicely and the forester's binoculars can be strapped around his head, he can sit really well in his chair as well as climb the ladder. The squirrels and birds can be put in various different places on the trees. And the animals' heads move up and down!

We also have the farmyard Playmobil set, but this is way, way better.

My 5yo daughter loves her playmobil and spends a lot of time telling princess stories with them.
Although set in more realistic/modern times, this set is a very welcome and nice addition to the collection - she just does not play that much with the forest ranger and his gun.
The animals and plants are excellent Playmobil quality and design.
As far as durability is concerned, two aspects to it: play-wise it is excellent - my kids still play with my 1974-1978 Playmobils.
Mechanical sturdiness-wise they require a little attention, for instance you do not want to step on the antlers. Nothing that some 5 minutes epoxy cannot fix, though.
All in all 4 stars because of the price. For poor quality toys I would say you get what you pay for; for this one you pay for what you get. Still good value, especially if my grandkids one day play with them as well.

My 9yr old daughter got this for her birthday. She loves animal playsets, and seems to really enjoy this one. The trees and accessories really add to the imaginative play.

i ordered this for my sons birthday cake topper. It worked awesome! I have the local bakery bake the cake and add the decor/toy to it...they were so impressed at how cute it turned out. Now that the party is over he plays with it alot...especially since his dad is a big hunter.
