Great playmobil item, although tons of small pieces. Gender stereo-types aside, this is like a boy version of a doll house. My 5 year old son plays with it the same way I played with my dollhouse, as a girl -- he moves all the people and items around, creates elaborate fantasies about their activities, etc. He keeps the police station and it's many small items on a shelf (away from his younger brother), and it's been his favorite toy for many months. You'll need some patience for setting it up. My son can construct all the playmobil vehicles by himself, but he needed a lot of help with this.

My son's both love Playmobil toys. My oldest is into animals and my younger into police/fire/trucks. I like the detail they put into their toys, which allows us to talk about some things in life and those things around Police and other stuff. He likes the ability of the "bandit" to break out of jail. It did take us some time to put the kit together, but I knew it would having put together other kits. The time is worth the authentisicity of the toy.

Great toy! The equivalent to a doll house for my son. Lots of little pieces to play with and tons of detail. very durable and hard to break! It did take a long time to put together!

This took a little over an hour to assemble, but once it's built it is very durable and easy to move around (there is a large plastic base that keeps it all together). My son LOVES it and the detail is terrific. We really enjoy playmobil toys and appreciate their quality.

My grandson wanted this toy very much and its availability is limited due to the high standards of business Playmobile requires from their vendors. He was thrilled with the Christmas gift and his uncle spent an hour assembling it for him.

My 5 year old loves police and he loves this station. I have put together a lot of Playmobil sets and this one took the most time of any. About 2 hours. There are a lot of small parts, which tend to get lost, but my son likes to set it up. He also has the helicopter and motorcyle. At least one vehicle is a must for going out and picking up bad-guys.

Pros:

Very realistic and activity-filled toy, and my six-year-old grandson was thrilled to get it. He has spent many hours playing with it. Well worth the cost.

Cons:

Many small parts that can easily be lost during play.

Assembly requires much time, patience, and parts-searching. All of the pieces are in several different bags, in no apparent order. If there were separate parts bags for each step, assembly time could literally be cut in half.

for the price it should be sturdier and have larger pieces. It is very difficult to put together. It has many tiny pieces and inadequate instructions. I would not recommend this toy.
