Product is as shown, however be aware that bulk packaging is used. There is no box, just a clear plastic bag with the loose pieces inside. I bought this for a gift...not a very attractive gift without the box imho. If you are into reducing waste you'll appreciate the minimal packaging.

These little people are so cute. They arrived very soon after ordering in perfect condition. The only thing that was unusual was that the people were in a clear plastic bag in a plain cardboard box. Why weren't they in a Playmobil box? Makes me wonder if they were taken out of another set and repackaged and resold.

This set from Playmobil is both historically accurate and simple. Of course this portrays wealthy Egyptians in linen but they are well crafted down to the thick wigs and pleated linen garb. The toys can even be separated and reused in different ways. I only wish Playmobil provided an entire village. I can use this toy for teaching both history and cultural subjects. Because of the simplicity I can use this alone to teach about Ancient Egypt or Ptolemaic or Roman Egypt. Very versatile and resilent.
