I got this for my daughter back in September I believe and only paid about $20 for it. She loves it. I just noticed several sellers are now listing it for an outrageous price of $89 and up. Do not drain your wallet here as I have heard playmobil has it for about $16.99 and another store I just checked recently (cornertoystore.com) has it for $18.99. Those sellers should be ashamed of themselves and should be worried about the Karma that will come back to them.

These advent calendars are great but they are 16.99 on playmobil.com

Please research before buying anything on amazon around the holidays. Vendors like to increase prices!

Very happy with calendar and pleased with Playmobil's quality. Kids really love counting down December.

This was such a fun idea and much better than the chocolate Advent calendars. I (and the kids!) was very pleased with it.

I bought Lego advent calendars for my sons and really wanted to find something comparable for my daughters. This was perfect. They couldn't wait to open each day. There were a few days with 'little' things like flowers but most days had a significant item (person, horse, etc) which they were thrilled to open.

I bought this advent calendar for my 4 1/2 year old unicorn-obsessed daughter and she LOVES this! It must have been an advent calendar from another year because I couldn't find it anywhere in stores. I'm so glad that I found it on amazon. My two daughters shared a Playmobil advent calendar last year and it was tricky. This time I bought one for each of them which allowed them to be personalized. My oldest picked this one out when we were searching online.

The pieces are all of Playmobil quality and character. This set is super flower/fairy/unicorn and perfect for my girly daughter.

There are other "girly" advent calendars out there (Polly Pocket, etc.) but Playmobil toys will last and are more fun for me to look at too.

Consider buying this advent calendar off season because the price goes ridiculously high between Thanksgiving and Christmas. It is well made and my daughter loved assembling the scene, but it tripled in price from when I first saw it until her great aunt purchased it. Next year, it's advents in September! :)
