The card game, Killer Bunnies, is wonderful! My entire family loves playing together. We just added the red booster pack and the new cards add so much more to the game. We own several more "booster" packs, but are adding them one at a time in order to fully enjoy the new twists and turns. This is a great card game if you have a sense of humor, like loud games, and don't mind killing your opponents bunnies.

Definitely adds to the fun and originality of the great game of killer bunnies.

A few new rules and items to learn, but not too difficult. The more difficult things come in later expansions.

One rule to remember about expansions... buy them in order! They build on each other, so if you skip one, you will be scratching your head once and a while trying to figure some things out.

This Red Booster can be purchased with the starter Killer Bunnies set and won't add any confusion for beginners. The cards in this Red set are both useful and amusing.

I rated the educational value as a 3/5 because, though this is a simple card game that virtually anyone with little to knowledge (not trying to be crass) can play, so long as the rules are explained well enough, many of the cards contain tons of literary and cultural references that'll make people think "Hmm... I wonder what this reference is." Hopefully, then, it'll have players look up the reference...and learn something new!

Though the quality of the cards has declined over the years, they are still durable.

All in all, if you want to complete the QftMC set, you have to buy this booster, just as with the other boosters. The entire sets were made at once, but separated into respective booster decks to eliminate confusion for beginners and ameliorate its replay value.

This "red booster pack" is an extension to the Killer Bunnies game. You'll need the base game (blue) and the yellow extension pack to play, and that base game is awsome -- it is the only game I've played that encourages players making deals, and this adds a whole new dimension of fun. I've mixed feelings on the red cards. Some are really fun (like the red bunnies), some are really complicated without adding much to the game (like the Weapons Emporium -- there's seldom enough money to buy them anyway), and some are too deadly. However, it is easy enough to sort through the deck, and pick out the ones you want to use. Look, they are all fun and funny cards; I'm just reminding you that Killer Bunnies is all about negotiation -- so, negotiate which cards you want to use. The extra carrot cards extend the durration of the average game somewhat.

The red booster deck is one of the better Killer Bunnies booster decks. We love the new red bunnies and some of the cards that go along with them. If you enjoy Playroom Entertainment Killer Bunnies and the Quest for the Magic Carrot Blue Starter Set, this will add to your fun!

We were introduced to Killer Bunnies (basic) at Xmas 2011. Four of us played for hours and hours over the next three days. I purchased the next add-on - Red Booster. We taught two more friends the basic rules. In two days Killer Bunnies Red Booster arrived from Amazon. The extra cards added new strategies. We six played several more rounds and can't wait to be together for another marathon. One card developed a bent corner from someone slamming it down in a triumphant move - be more careful.

Please note: You must purchase the Killer Bunny Booster Packs in order. The game is set up like this on purpose with additional die, rules, shops, etc that have to be learned in order. If you are reading this review because you are interested in starting to play, please search for the Killer Bunnies Blue Starter Pack. According to the Killer Bunnies website, here is the order the booster packs must be acquired:

I have played with all of the boosters up to the Green Booster and the Red Booster has the best cards. Not only do you get a special dice and the introduction of Rooney's Weapons Emporium (a shop similar to Kaballa's except you can buy back weapons and purchase Defense Cards to lower the level of a weapon) but there is also the introduction of several new bunnies (one of each type) with special powers!! Did I just blow your mind? Wait for it!! The Red Sinister Bunny is now equipped with a force field that, if a weapon is defeated, will literally bounce it back to your opponent. The Red Timid Bunny comes equipped with the ability to "re-roll" EVERY color dice. The Red Congenial Bunny is allowed to feed three cabbage and three water per turn (useful with Feed the Bunny Cards). The Red Lumbering Bunny comes automatically with three clovers and the Red Gleeful Bunny can purchase 3 Dollas worth of items from any store per turn (like defense cards). In addition to this awesomeness, there are many new weapon cards and special cards (including one that deflects Terrible Misfortunes!!) to add to the fun excitement.
Well worth the $7!!! Wow. That's the lowest I've ever seen the price on ANY booster pack.

Conclusion: A VERY good and fun addition to the Blue Starter Pack with many additional twists and turns with the ever unique, clever, and colorful cards. It's personally my favorite booster pack (with the Green Booster close behind) and well worth the investment.

This is a great expansion for Killer Bunnies. I think it is a little overpriced though. $10 for 50 cards?
I do like it overall and I will buy more boosters for Killer Bunnies
but shipping was kinda slow too

Love getting it online cheaper. this is by far my favorite game ever! a whole game just to find out which carrot's on the bottom, all luck!

My sister and I got this game because we thought it sounded ridiculous and not because we expected it would be a good game, however, we absolutely love it and very much enjoyed the expansion packs. They're helpful when you play with a lot of people as well
