This is the third expansion pack and you have to buy them in order, the first is yellow, but usually comes with the basic game. The second one is red. This game is really fun. I enjoy it very much and this pack gave us some fantastic new cards to make the game even more wild and crazy. I really love the Low Jack Kojak card, you can cause someone to lose all their carrots! The Insight card (where you see 5 of the carrot cards that aren't the winner) is also a great card! I love this game and this expansion pack made the game even better!

It's best to play a game with just the Red set first, then go ahead and get this expansion. Though it doesn't introduce anything "new," the Violet Booster deck and 20-sided die just MIGHT be overwhelming for a beginner. But the choice is clearly up to you.

I rated the educational value as a 3/5 because, though this is a simple card game that virtually anyone with little to knowledge (not trying to be crass) can play, so long as the rules are explained well enough, many of the cards contain tons of literary and cultural references that'll make people think "Hmm... I wonder what this reference is." Hopefully, then, it'll have players look up the reference...and learn something new!

Though the quality of the cards has declined over the years, they are still durable.

All in all, if you want to complete the QftMC set, you have to buy this booster, just as with the other boosters. The entire sets were made at once, but separated into respective booster decks to eliminate confusion for beginners and ameliorate its replay value.

If you're wondering whether or not you need to buy the booster packs for Killer Bunnies, the answer is yes!!Especially if you already love the original, the boosters add tons of fun cards, new abilities, and added dimensions to this already awesome game!!!
Definately worth adding to your current collection.

If you like to play card games this is the mother of all card games! And the boosters only make it that much better. Killer Bunnies is so much fun to play in any circumstance. I really like that it accommodates more that 4 players (up to 12 if you have all the boosters). We laugh til our sides hurt every time we play. You need to have the blue and yellow (starter pack) before you get the violet booster. But after that you will want them all!!!

Love this game! Great extension to an awesome game! Killer Bunnies is a really fun game for adults, teens and older kids.

it's an expansion pack. you need a review? write one for the previous packs and just read it to yourself, substituting violet in place of blue/red/yellow/ whatever.

Yet another awesome expansion to the most wonderful card game I've come across in years. I must admit that I am beginning to have an unhealthy obsession with this game. Let us pray that my relationship survives this newfound addition. Truly ridiculous and awesome competitive fun. How could you not love a game in which everything is almost completely contingent upon randomness??

Wonderful fun for the family. My kids and I love playing this game together. The creators of this game certainly outdid themselves from a creative, engaging, and unique style point. Highly recommend!

This game is alot of fun. It may take a game or 2 to get the basics down but it is totally worth any effort you put into it. I really enjoy it.
