This review is from: Plays Andre Hodeir (Audio CD)
André Hodeir was one of the greatest jazz composers and arrangers of Paris throughout the 1950s. Hodeir arranged all of these tracks. Recorded in 1956, the musicians performing on these dates are: Roger Guerin (trumpet), Billy Byers & Nat Peck (trombone), Hubert Rostaing (alto saxophone), Armand Migiani (baritone saxophone), Martial Solal & Rene Urtreger (piano), Pierre Michelot & Jean Warland (bass) and Kenny Clarke (drums). This album is solid. You'll definitely enjoy it.
