A great combination of Conniff albums!, November 17, 2008

This is one of the latest "two-fer" Ray Conniff releases, and one that has been long-awaited by his numerous fans world-wide. Both of these albums were notably hard-to-get, and no collection could possibly be complete without this offering.
It may be difficult for Conniff traditionalists to imagine the Singers delivering quality renditions of the BeeGees' work, but these are smooth, mellow, sometimes slightly accelerated deliveries that will please every Conniff fan. For example, the medley of "Emotions/How Deep is Your Love" is practically flawless, and "How Deep Is Your Love" is incredibly well done. Ray's version of Billy Joel's "Just the Way You Are" is similarly excellent. Other Conniff fans have offered that "You Light Up My Life" may be better than Debbie Boone's original hit! My personal favorite is "The Twenty-Third Psalm," which is absolutely beautiful! Enjoy!
