incredible virtuosity, March 13, 1999

After hearing Valentina Lisitsa and her husband play a concert, I was so impressed by her virtuosity and lyrical playing style that I bought this CD. I was not disappointed. The entire CD is done without any editing, and yet is technically brilliant and also very musical. I predict this lady, who recently moved to the US from the former Soviet Union, will be one of the great pianists of the 21st century.
