Rare Harry James recordings!,

These recordings are certainly Harry James band recordings! No one else plays like Willie Smith on the alto sax or Harry on the trumpet. That in addition to all the other "easy to recognize" musicians that made up the band of this era. These recordings are not the usual "best of" series. They are much better and very hard to find. I have been a musician for more than 60 years and have most of Harry's records, but I'm also buying this just for the fantastic sax work on Lazy River. A rare find!

I have the originals of Harry James this was my era and I would not recognize any of the recordings you list as his . Under no conditions would I buy this recording !
