Best Toy for a newborn!!
I never really thought much when I recieved this toy as a shower gift. I kind've forgot about it mixed with all the other stuffed animals my daughter recieved. When she was around two months my mom took it out and showed DD. She absolutly loved it. Something about the way the face lights up, my daughter smiles and laughs and coos everytime!! It never seems to get old...

you can do better
This was given to my daughter as a gift. I am not a fan... The music only plays for a *very* short time...like 30 seconds. This is not long enough for me to leave the room let alone a child to fall asleep. The music is very annoying...I can't stand it. It plays notes of twinkle twinkle etc, but the sound quality is terrible. I don't know how to describe it,...

This is not long enough for me to leave the room let alone a child to fall asleep. The music is very annoying...I can't stand it. It plays notes of twinkle twinkle etc, but the sound quality is terrible. I don't know how to describe it, but I would not find it soothing. Also no way to turn off once it is playing, just have to let it run it's course. I much prefer the Fisher-Price Ocean Wonders Soothe and Glow Seahorse. We have had this for almost 3 years. It is still going strong and we love it. The music is soothing, not annoying. It plays for ~5 minutes, not 30 seconds and has an added feature of being able to turn off if you want. Choose this one instead, you won't be disappointed.

It never seems to get old for her, definatly the best reaction from any toy she has! I know now why it's been around so long, I only wish we would've got the girlier pink one!
